Babson College

One of the finest soccer players in school history, Mark Paylor ranks third among Babson's all-time leaders in both goals scored (32) and total points (87). As a sophomore in 1975, he was a key member of Babson's first-ever NCAA national championship team. An aggressive and highly skilled player, Mark's strong leadership qualities and his desire to win made him a natural choice for team captain in 1977. That season, he led Babson to a third place finish in the NCAA Championship Tournament. Although best known for his soccer prowess, Mark was also a two-year starter for Babson's ice hockey team.
