Babson Athletics Hall of Fame
Judy Pearson enjoyed a legendary career as a member of the Babson women's basketball team, earning numerous All-Conference and All-New England awards. A three-year captain, she helped guide the Beavers to 41 wins in four years, including what was then a program-record 14 victories and a trip to the Massachusetts State Finals in 1985. She is the only woman in Babson history to score more than 20 points per game - her 20.9 average remains number one all-time - while her 1,758 career points is second only to Michele Merten '95 on the Beavers' career scoring list. She also ranks among the school's leaders with 814 rebounds and 323 steals during her illustirous career. In addition to basketball, Pearson was also a member of the Babson soccer team, helping the Beavers reach the Massachusetts State Finals in 1983 and captaining the squad in 1984.Â
