Babson Athletics Hall of Fame
One of the most decorated skiers in school history, Anne Sarich Bracy was a two-time All-American and All-East selection who led the Beavers to regional prominence in the late 1980s. A native of Government Camp, Oregon, Anne attended Sandy Union High School, where she was a standout athlete. After attending college in Idaho for two years, Bracy transferred to Babson in 1986, skiing under coaches David Ellis, Laurie Magoon, and Joe Harty. In her two years on the slopes, Bracy helped the Beavers to consecutive Thompson Division championships and back-to back appearances at the Regional Championships. Individually, Bracy finished first in the league and represented the East Region at the National Championships both seasons, finishing in the national top 20 in 1988. Bracy, who captained the 1988 team, also earned East Region Scholar-Athlete honors and the Division Sportsmanship Award that year. After exhausting her eligibility, Bracy coached the 1989 team while completing her degree. She then earned her MBA from the University of Washington in 1995.Â
