One of the truly elite figures in Babson Athletics history, Bill Rogers built his legacy as both a player and coach for the men's soccer program. Between the lines, Rogers served as team captain during the 1971 and 1972 seasons and received All-New England and New England Intercollegiate All-Star honors. As a coach from 1978 to 1984, he guided the Beavers to an incredible 87-23-15 record and six NCAA tournament appearances, including back-to-back NCAA Division III Championships in 1979 and 1980. Along with fellow Hall of Famer and former soccer coach Bob Hartwell, Rogers is the namesake for Babson's current soccer field.
