Babson Athletics Hall of Fame
One the greatest golfers in program history, Meyers was the cornerstone of a Babson squad that won 14 tournaments, four straight conference titles, two straight New England Championships, and two consecutive bids to the NCAA Tournament in 2000 and 2001. As an individual, he was a four-time All-Conference honoree, the CAC Rookie and Golfer of the Year in 1997, the NEWMAC Golfer of the Year in 1998 and 1999, a District I All-Star in 1998, 1999, and 2000, an All-New England selection in 1997, 1999, and 2000, and a Pre-Tournament National All-American in 1999 and 2000. In addition, he earned Scholastic All-America honors as well as the Babson Senior Male Athlete of the Year award following the 2000-01 campaign. He posted nine tournament victories, finished in the top 25 at the NCAA Tournament twice, and had his score count in every competitive round of his college career in the best four-out-of-five scoring system. As a senior, Meyers led Babson to the second best finish in program history at the national championships, as the Beavers placed 15th in the country.Â
