• Babson is set to play a pair of mid-week non-conference contests when it concludes a five-game homestand against Tufts at Govoni Field on Wednesday afternoon before traveling to UMass Dartmouth on Thursday.

• Babson (13-11) has won back-to-back games and rallied from a six-run deficit to beat No. 3/4 Salve Regina 14-12 on Tuesday afternoon at Govoni Field.

SCOUTING THE JUMBOS
• No. 22 ABCA Tufts (18-7) snapped a two-game skid with an 11-6 win over Endicott on Sunday afternoon.
• Malcolm Whitfield went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored, Jack Kamin doubled and knocked in a run as part of a three-hit day, and Mark Herlihy struck out five and allowed two runs, both unearned, over 6.0 innings for the Jumbos, who built a 7-0 lead in the second inning.
• Kamin is batting .439 with three homers, three doubles, 23 RBI and 28 runs scored, Tate Bannish is hitting .341 with four home runs, six doubles, three triples, 24 RBI and 16 runs scored, and James Henshon owns a .330 average to go along with 12 extra-base hits, 21 RBI and 17 runs scored for a team that is batting .303 on the year.
• Mitchell Hwang (3-0, 0.84 ERA) has one save and boasts a 0.70 WHIP to go along with 21 strikeouts and a .151 opponents' batting average in 21.1 innings pitched, Paul McCarthy (0-0) has a 2.53 earned run average and 10 strikeouts in 10.2 innings and Derek Desmarais is 2-2 with a 5.02 ERA to go along with 19 strikeouts in 14.1 innings of work.
SCOUTING THE CORSAIRS
• UMass Dartmouth (14-16) has won eight of its last 11 games going back to March 26 and is coming off a 7-1 victory over Rhode Island College on Tuesday.
• Jayden Cruz and Jake San Antonio each drove in two runs, Luc Nivaud went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored, and AJ Rourke struck out seven and allowed just one run on five hits over 8.0 innings for the Corsairs, who had six stolen bases in the win.
• Cooper Wixon is batting .377 with 11 doubles, two home runs, 21 RBI and 27 runs scored, Sam Bradford is hitting .354 with 10 doubles, six homers, 26 RBI and 24 runs scored, and Brett Baker owns a .309 average to go along with 10 doubles, two dingers, 25 RBI and 24 runs scored on the year.
• Jackson Hayes is 2-1 with a 2.60 ERA and is holding opposing hitters to a .200 average in 17.1 innings pitched, Alex Tawa (0-2, 3.86 ERA) has 17 strikeouts and has allowed just six hits 14.0 innings, and Adam Maher (0-2, 4.38 ERA) has made just one appearance since March 8 but has 20 strikeouts in 12.1 innings on the year.
LATE-GAME HEROICS
• Trailing 9-4 after five, the Beavers got a two-run homer from D'Avanzo in the sixth, another two-run shot from Stephens in the seventh and then a pinch-hit grand slam on the first pitch he saw from Liss to spark a six-run eighth-inning rally on Tuesday against Salve Regina.
• The six runs are the most scored by Babson in the eighth inning since it put up seven in a 19-4 rout of WPI on April 21, 2024, and the six-run deficit is the largest the Green and White has overcome to win dating back to 2022.
OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION
• Over the last three games, the Beavers have put up 38 runs and are hitting .409 to go along with a .545 on-base percentage.
• In addition to its 38 hits, Babson has taken advantage of 25 walks and 10 hit batsmen, which includes getting plunked four times by a pair of Salve Regina relievers during Tuesday's decisive eighth inning.
