SERIES HISTORY
• Babson and Wheaton will meet for the 99th time on Tuesday in a series that dates back to 1998.
• The Beavers are 39-59 all-time against the Lyons but have won six of the last eight games in the series since 2024.
• The teams have split their last 42 games dating back to April 9, 2016, which Babson and Wheaton both winning 13 times in 26 regular season contests.
• The Green and White is 3-2 at Sidell Stadium since 2023, which includes regular season victories in both 2024 and 2025.
LAST MEETING
• Robbie Lamond, Collin Reilly and Brayden Lewis combined to drive in eight runs and four relievers allowed just one run over 6.0 innings to help Wheaton defeat the Beavers, 10-4, last Tuesday in Babson Park.
• Lamond was 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored, and Reilly doubled and knocked in three runs for the Lyons, who took advantage of five Babson errors to build a 6-0 lead in the fourth inning.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (8-7, 2-1 NEWMAC) has won four consecutive games and completed a sweep of Coast Guard with a 9-6 victory in game two of Sunday's doubleheader.

Zander Teator hit a two-run homer and sophomore
Chase Burrows recorded the longest outing or his career allowing one run over 8.0 innings while striking out a career-high seven batters for the Beavers.

Ryan Grace is batting .373 with three homers, five doubles, 17 RBI and 15 runs scored, Christensen is hitting .364 with two extra-base hits, eight RBI and eight runs scored, and Liss has two home runs, three doubles, 13 RBI and 11 runs scored this spring.

James Clark (2-2, 5.79 ERA) has recorded 12 strikeouts in 14.0 innings over four starts, senior
Zander Teator has three saves while recording six strikeouts in 3.0 innings out of the bullpen, and junior
Tristan Pearl (0-0) boasts a 2.45 ERA to go along with seven strikeouts in 7.1 innings pitched over three appearances out of the bullpen this spring.
SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Wheaton (11-4, 2-1 NEWMAC) has won four of its last five games and earned a split of Sunday's doubleheader by defeating No. 3/4 Salve Regina, 9-4, in game two.
• Reilly, Logan Downey and Marcus Rodrigues all finished with three hits, Evan Jones went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Aiden Cardoza improved to 2-0 after allowing three earned runs over 7.0 innings for the Lyons, who took a 5-0 lead in the in the fourth inning and finished the game with 13 hits.
• Reilly is batting .364 with two homers, six doubles, 16 RBI and 19 runs scored, Lewis is hitting .358 with two home runs, three doubles, a team-high 18 RBI and 13 runs scored, and Rodrigues owns a .349 average to go along with a double, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored.
• Jack Ritchie (2-0, 5.54 ERA) has recorded 14 strikeouts in 13.0 innings, Evan Yakavonis (0-0, 6.00 ERA) has 11 strikeouts against just two walks over 12.0 innings and Josh Fischer is 1-0 with a 1.42 earned run over and seven strikeouts over 6.1 innings out of the bullpen this spring.
PITCH PERFECT
• In addition to Burrows' best start of the season, graduate student
Joe Carrea picked up his first win of the year by tossing a career-high eight innings in game one of Sunday's doubleheader at Coast Guard.
• Carrea, who struck out five and scattered eight hits, did not allow a run after the first inning and retired eight of the final nine batters he faced while lowering his ERA to 1.65 and his WHIP to 0.86 over 16.1 innings this spring.
• Burrows gave up just four hits over his first seven innings and needed just 94 pitches to get through eight frames against the Bears.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Sophomore
Ben Valente enters Tuesday's contest riding a six-game hitting streak, while Cushner and Grace both have at least one hit in five straight outings.
• Grace has reached base safely in all 15 games this spring, Christensen and sophomore
Dylan Drazka have been on base in eight straight contests, and Teator has reached safely in his last seven outings.
• The Beavers have multiple extra-base hits in each of their last seven games going back to March 18 and have drawn at least three walks in six straight contests.
BEAVER BITES
• In five games last week, six different players finished with at least five RBI, including Teator, Liss, Valente and sophomore
Brooks Saft, who all homered once.
• Grace leads the team with six multi-RBI games and both he and Christensen have recorded a team-high six multi-hit games this spring.
• Drazka has yet to strikeout in 53 plate appearances this spring is one of four Division III players with at least 40 at-bats and no strikeouts this spring.
• Carrea ranks 20th in Division III in WHIP (0.86), Burrows is 28th in walks per nine innings (1.11) and Teator is tied for 29th with his three saves.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 5-1 this season and 23-6 going back to the start of last year when allowing five runs or fewer.
• Babson is 5-0 this spring when finishing with more hits than its opponents and 7-3 when it records at least two extra-base hits.
• The Green and White is 8-0 this spring and 53-1 over the last three years when leading after seven innings.
• During its four-game winning streak, the Beavers are hitting .333 with runners in scoring position.
