BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Babson College baseball program was recognized for its success in the classroom earning American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence presented by Sports Attack honors last week.
Led by head coach
Matt Noone, the Beavers wrapped up the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.34 team grade-point average. The Green and White, which was recognized for the fifth consecutive season, was among more than 440 college programs to receive Team Academic Excellence accolades from the ABCA.
In order to earn recognition, teams must be coached by an ABCA member and have a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for the entire academic year.
Babson concluded the 2025 campaign with a record of 23-13 after falling to MIT in the opening round of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament back in May.
