SERIES HISTORY
• Babson and Mitchell will meet for the second time in just eight days on Wednesday night.
• The Beavers are 1-0 all-time against the Mariners.

LAST MEETING
• Junior James Welch knocked down five three-pointers and scored a game-high 21 points to lead Babson to an 83-58 win over Mitchell on March 3 in New London, Conn.
• Junior Colin Bradanese recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while sophomore Andrew Kirkpatrick added 13 points, five assists and three steals for the Beavers, who shot 49.3 percent for the game.
• Senior Elijah Biadoo scored 13 points to pace the Mariners.

SCOUTING THE MARINERS
• Mitchell (0-3) is coming off a 76-43 loss to Connecticut College on Sunday afternoon.
• Junior Jacob Tully scored 13 points to lead the Mariners, who shot a season-low 22.2 percent from the floor.
• Baidoo is averaging 12.3 points and 3.3 rebounds, Tully is contributing 9.5 points and 3.0 boards, and junior Jalen Benson (5.7 pts, 7.7 reb, 3.7 ast) leads the team in both rebounds and assists.
• Mitchell is shooting just 31.3 percent and averaging 56.3 points over its first three outings.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (5-2) is looking to rebound from a 92-82 3OT loss at Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Sunday afternoon.
• Senior Andrew Jaworski posted his first double-double of the season with 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Beavers, who battled back from a 12-point deficit with 5:19 left in regulation.
• Jaworski (15.6 pts, 6.1 reb, 4.1 ast) leads the team in scoring and rebounding, Welch (15.3 pts, 2.7 reb) is shooting 48 percent from three-point range, and Bradanese (14.6 pts, 5.9 reb) has scored in double figures in five consecutive games.
• The Green and White is averaging 81.3 points on 47.7 percent shooting this winter.

DROPPING DIMES
• Kirkpatrick ranks 11th in Division III averaging 6.0 assists on the year.
• He has finished with at least five assists in five of his first six games this season and doled out 13 in last weekend's two-game series against Saint Joseph.

MOVIN' ON UP
• Jaworski passed Christ McMahon '83 and is now 18th all-time on Babson's career scoring list with 1,151 points.
• He enters the final three games of his career 73 points away from former teammate Nick Comenale '18, who is 17th with 1,224 points.

DOWN, BUT NEVER OUT
• Despite falling in 3OT on Sunday at Saint Joseph, it marked the fourth time over the last three seasons that the Beavers erased a double-digit second-half deficit to either win or force an extra session.
• Babson overcame an 18-point deficit to beat Coast Guard 94-92 in OT on January 15, 2020, and rallied from a 12-point hole in an 86-84 victory over Emerson on January 29, 2020.
• The Beavers also trailed by 10 with less than nine minutes to go before winning 67-64 at Springfield on January 2, 2019.

40-MINUTE MEN
• Kirkpatrick (50), Jaworski (48), senior Matt Pattyson (42) and Bradanese (41) all played more than 40 minutes while setting new career highs for playing time in Sunday's 3OT marathon.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers have led at halftime in all seven of their games this season by an average of 9.7 points.

UP NEXT
• Babson will wrap up the 2020-21 campaign with a two-game series against Eastern Nazarene beginning on Saturday at 1 p.m. inside Staake Gymnasium.
