CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Six different players won a pair of matches and the Babson College men's tennis team won seven of eight doubles matches to conclude the MIT Invitational on Sunday afternoon inside the JB Carr Tennis Bubble. 

First-years Saje Menon (Mineola, N.Y.) and Lucas Velasco (Miami Beach, Fla.) opened the day with an 8-3 victory to help the Beavers sweep all four matches against Colby and then were 8-6 winners over Hunter Liao and Grant Gallagher of MIT in the afternoon session. Sophomores Sourish Gadhi (Morganville, N.J.) and Rishi Batlanki (Monroe Township, N.J.) also went unbeaten on the day an 8-3 victory over the Mules and an 8-6 triumph of Tyler Li and Kaden Chen of the Engineers. 

Junior Sebastian Mendoza (Weston, Fla.) recorded back-to-back victories for the Green and White, pairing with classmate Louis Bourn (Geneva, Switzerland) for an 8-2 win over Coly and then partnered with first-year Andre Ziskind (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) to beat Adam Sun and Shrish Choudhary of MIT in the afternoon, 8-3. Ziskind also teamed up with junior Mason Nguyen (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) for an 8-5 triumph in the victory over Colby. 

The lone loss of the day came in the afternoon session against MIT as Gary Jiang and Sanghyuk Im edged Nguyen and first-year Eric Gunawan (Jakarta, Indonesia), 8-6. 

Babson is back in action next Saturday when it opens NEWMAC play at Salve Regina in addition to competing at the Boston University Invite.
