Vanya Bansal (Noida, India) was named Colonial Women's Golf Conference (CWGC) Player and Rookie of the Year,
Jeff Page was selected as the league's coach of the year and five players in all were recognized when the conference announced its inaugural postseason honors on Friday.
Bansal was joined on the All-CWGC first team by sophomore
Hannah McCarthy (Toronto, Ontario) and first-year
Katie Yang (Orlando, Fla.), sophomore
Camila Amaya (Singer Island, Fla.) claimed a spot on the second team and junior
Laura Lu (Chengdu, China) earned an honorable mention.
Page, who announced his retirement as the head women's and men's golf coach at Babson back in December, led the Beavers to a terrific season that included winning the inaugural CWGC Championship back in October and finishing at No. 24 in the Scoreboard Division III rankings. His squad also placed 10th at the Williams Invitational back in September and 11th against a strong field in their Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational debut in March.
Bansal put together a terrific rookie campaign that included finishing with a team-best 76.75 scoring average and four top-15 finishes in events of least 36 holes. She was the medalist at the CWGC Championship, tied for fourth place at the Jack Leaman Invitational in April and opened with a season-best round of 2-under 71 on the way to placing ninth at the Polar Bear Shootout back in October with a 36-hole total of 1-under 145.
Bansal concluded the season ranked 51st overall and 20th in the East Region by Scoreboard.
One of two Babson players along with Bansal to compete in every tournament this season, McCarthy finished third on the squad with a 80.06 scoring average to go along with two top-15 finishes and five top-40 results in six tournaments of at least 36 holes. She recorded the low round of the inaugural CWGC Championship with a 2-over 74 in the first round on the way to finishing second overall.
Yang was second on the team with a 78.93 scoring average over 14 rounds and posted a pair of top-15 finishes and five top-40 results in tournaments of at least 36 holes. She tied for third at the CWGC Championship, fired a season-best 3-over 74 in the first round of the Williams Invitational on the way to tying for 11th place in late September, and finished in a tie for 41st position at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational in March.
Yang ended the season at No. 90 nationally and 36th in the East Region in the Scoreboard Division III rankings.
Amaya played in four events on the year for the Beavers, posting a pair of top-25 finishes while concluding the season with an 80.56 stroke average. She came in 11th at the CWGC Championship and registered her best round of the year, a 2-over 75 in round one of the Polar Bear Shootout, on the way to grabbing a share of 22nd position.
Lu competed in four events on the year and finished with an 80.43 stroke average over seven rounds. Her top result of the season came at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational in March where she shot 78-76-77 to tie for 20th place at 17-over.
Babson finished the 2025-26 campaign by finishing seventh at the Northeast Invitational back on April 19.
