BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College goalkeeper Andrew Almquist (Wakefield, Mass.) was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week on Wednesday.

 Almquist continued his stellar play by stopping nine of 11 shots over the first three quarters for a .818 save percentage in last Saturday's 16-2 win over Emerson. He made seven of his nine saves in the opening half as the Beavers held the Lions off the scoreboard for a span of more than 30 minutes from late in the first quarter until the final 46 seconds of the third.

 Almquist, who was named to the USILA Team of the Week for the third time this season, has started all 14 games this season and is 12-2 with a 8.78 goals against average and a .608 save percentage while averaging 13.07 saves per game. He ranks 17th in Division III in save percentage and 37th nationally in goals against average, and has made at least 15 saves five times on the year.
