SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (2-1) followed up wins over Capital and Rowan with a 3-1 loss to No. 4 Johns Hopkins in the finale of the Greg "Gio" Giovanazzi Memorial Tournament last Saturday in Baltimore.

Ailsa Munro added five kills and a team-high three blocks for the Beavers, who rallied from a seven-point deficit to win the opening set before the Blue Jays rallied to take the final three games.

Sofia Ibarra (2.63 k/s) made just three errors while hitting .439, and May contributed 2.50 kills and 1.20 digs to go along with a .298 hitting percentage.
• Ackerman averaged 7.64 assists and 2.27 digs per set in addition to leading the Green and White with 11 service aces, while senior
Sophia Shaw contributed 3.45 digs per set to lead the defense.
SCOUTING THE GIANTS
• Keystone (0-3) is coming off a three-set (25-8, 25-19, 25-12) loss to Misericordia on Tuesday night.
• Indya Rogers had two kills and five digs, Madison Woods added two kills and four digs, and Abigail Cornell handed out four assists for the Giants, who were limited to just seven kills while hitting -.102 in the loss.
• Rodgers is averaging 1.70 kills and 1.40 digs per set, Woods is contributing 1.40 kills and 1.10 digs, and Serenity Marshall (1.33 k/s, 1.78 d/s) is hitting a team-best .242 over the first three matches.
• Cornell and Naema Alatorre have combined to hand out 5.63 assists per set, while Nat Reyes leads the team in both total digs (19) and digs per set (1.90).
LONE STAR STATE DUO EARNS ALL-TOURNAMENT HONORS
• The duo of May, who hails from Grapevine, Texas, and sophomore
Sabina Frosk (Coppell, Texas) were both named to the Greg "Gio" Giovanazzi Memorial Tournament All-Tournament team last weekend in Baltimore.
• May recorded her first career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs in the loss to the fourth-ranked Blue Jays, while Frosk totaled 16 digs and averaged 1.45 digs per set in addition having just three receiving errors in 61 chances (.951) over three matches.
HOME SWEET HOME
• Since head coach
Eric Neely, now in his 15th season, arrived prior to the 2011 season, Babson boasts a .829 winning percentage and an overall record of 141-29 inside Staake Gymnasium.
• The Beavers went 15-3 at home last season with all three losses coming to programs that reached the NCAA Tournament (Franklin & Marshall, Smith, Springfield).
• Going back to the start of the 2022 campaign, the Green and White is 35-5 inside Staake Gymnasium.
MOVING UP THE CHARTS
• Ackerman became just the fifth player in school history to surpass 1,900 career assists in Saturday's loss to Johns Hopkins and passed Krissy Robertson '16 for fourth place on the program's all-time list with her 1,918 assists.
• Allen is now 12th in Babson history with 678 career kills and needs just four to pass
Tonya Strange '94 for 11th position.
BEAVER BITES
• After opening the season with eight kills on 12 swings in the victory over Capital last Friday, Ibarra registered a career-high 10 kills to go along with three blocks in last Saturday's win over Rowan.
• One of four players to appear in all 11 sets last weekend in Baltimore, first-year
Misaki Harte totaled 16 digs and seven service aces while averaging 1.45 digs per set.
• Sophomore
Angelina Holm matched her career high with six blocks in the win over Rowan and is averaging 1.25 blocks per set through three matches.
• Munro finished the weekend with eight total blocks while averaging 0.89 blocks per set.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 37-0 since the start of the 2023 campaign when hitting .200 or better.
• Babson is 42-2 going back to the start of the 2023 season when recording more service aces than its foes.
• The Green and White has won 36 consecutive outings when holding its opponents to a hitting percentage of .150 or below.
• The Beavers are 35-3 in the month of September over the last three seasons.
