Women's Volleyball's Holm Receives CSC Academic All-District Recognition

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College sophomore Angelina Holm (Denver, Colo.) was recognized for her success on the court and in the classroom with College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors on Tuesday.

Holm, who garnered CSC Academic All-District recognition for the first time, appeared in 30 of 31 matches this fall and set new career highs in points (292.5), kills (213) and total blocks (93). She averaged 2.01 kills and 0.88 blocks per set to go along with a .331 hitting percentage that ranked 45th in Division III and fourth in single-season program history.

An American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America honorable mention and All-New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) first-team selection, Holm is one of just four players in Babson history to register at least 200 kills and 90 blocks. She totaled double-digit kills seven times and her 93 blocks are the fifth most in single-season history.

In 58 matches over two seasons with the Beavers, Holm is averaging 1.66 kills and 0.81 blocks per set, and boasts a .307 hitting percentage.

Babson advanced to its first NEWMAC Tournament final since 2022 and finished the season with an overall record of 23-8 after pushing No. 7 Colby to five sets in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Since 1952, CSC has honored more than 40,000 outstanding student-athletes across the NCAA. To be eligible, a student-athlete maintain a GPA of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games or must start in at least 66 percent of the contests.
