MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— Two members of the Babson College women's volleyball program were recognized for their hard work and success in the classroom when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) released its Academic All-Conference team on Friday.

Sophomores Angelina Holm (Denver, Colo.) and Sofia Barra (Coral Gables, Fla.) were both named to the All-Academic squad for the first time.

A Computational and Mathematical Finance major, Holm started 29 of her 30 matches for the Beavers and finished second on the team with 93 total blocks and 0.88 blocks per set. She also finished third on the team with 213 kills, 2.01 kills per set and a .331 attack percentage. She ranked fifth in the NEWMAC in hitting percentage, total blocks and blocks per set. She had a season-high eight blocks in a win over Middlebury in October and a 3-2 loss to No. 12 MIT in the NEWMAC Championship match on October 16.

An Accounting major, Ibarra saw action in 35 sets over 17 matches for the Beavers. She recorded 61 kills for an average of 1.74 kills per set and an attack percentage of .185. She also recorded 14 digs and 19 blocks for the Green and White. She recorded 10 kills and a .450 attack percentage in a win over Rowan on August 30 and made a career-high 13 kills in a loss to Tufts on October 25.

The Beavers finished with a 23-8 overall record, 10-1 mark in the NEWMAC, and advanced to the NEWMAC Tournament final before earning an NCAA Tournament berth for the ninth time in the past 11 seasons.

Academic all-conference honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale after the 2025 spring semester, achieved second year academic status, and been a member of the team for the entire season.
