BABSON PARK, Mass.—A program record four Babson College women's volleyball players were recognized with honorable mention accolades when the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its 2025 All-America teams on Wednesday afternoon.
Junior
Zoe Ackerman (Aurora, Colo.) earned her third straight honorable mention nod, while senior
Isabella Allen (Williamsville, N.Y.), junior
Hailey Fouche (Montclair, N.J.) and sophomore
Angelina Holm (Denver, Colo.) all garnered an All-America honorable mention for the first time in their respective careers. All four players were named to the AVCA Region II first team last week.
The Beavers have had at least one All-America selection in each of the last eight seasons and this year's four honorees surpasses the program's previous record of three when it reached the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals in 2018.
Ackerman set new career highs with 1,086 assists, 231 digs, 74 service aces and 51 total blocks in 31 matches. She averaged 8.98 assists and 1.91 digs per set while setting a new single-season record for assists and serving up the third most aces in program history and most by any Babson player since 2001.
Ackerman will enter her senior campaign ranked third in school history in assists (2,965) and fifth in service aces (183).
Allen put together a terrific senior season totaling 290 kills and a career-high 304.5 points while averaging 2.67 kills and 2.85 points per set to go along with a career-best .226 hitting percentage in 29 matches. She totaled double-digit kills in 16 contests and averaged 2.87 kills per set in three postseason matches.
One of the top outside hitters in program history, Allen played in 120 career matches and ranks fourth on the Beavers' all-time list in kills (960) and eighth in points (1,003.0).
Fouche set new career highs in kills (242), points (303.0), total blocks (66), kills per set (2.35) and points per set (2.94) while recording the top hitting percentage of her career (.225) in 30 matches. She finished with double-digit kills 12 times, averaged 1.22 digs per set and registered at least one total block in 27 of 30 matches.
Holm appeared in 30 of 31 contests this fall and set new career highs in points (292.5), kills (213) and total blocks (93), and ranks 45th in Division III with a team-best hitting percentage of .331. She finished with double-digit kills seven times and at least four total blocks in 10 matches while becoming one of just four players in Babson history to surpass 90 total blocks in a single season.
Additionally, Holm's hitting percentage is the fourth highest in Babson single-season program history.
The Beavers advanced to the NEWMAC Tournament final for the first time since 2022 and fell to No. 7 Colby in five sets in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to conclude the season at 23-8.
