• The Babson women's soccer team will travel to Springfield for its NEWMAC opener on Saturday before returning to Hartwell-Rogers Field for its final non-conference home match of the season on Sunday versus Hamilton.

Nora Ryan '25 and went in front for good on Diletizia's second goal with 3:59 remaining in the contest.

• Babson (1-0-3) remained unbeaten with a 0-0 draw against Endicott on Tuesday afternoon.

SCOUTING THE PRIDE
• Springfield (1-4-0) picked up its first win of the season by blanking Framingham State 2-0 on Wednesday night.
• Katie McFerran and Kaitlyn Suller both provided a goal and an assist and Mallory Forgatch finished with five saves for the Pride, which scored twice in the first 26 minutes and recorded season highs in both shots (17) and corner kicks (11).
• McFerran (3-1-7) and Suller (2-1-5) have combined for all five of the team's goals, while Olivia Beach, Peyton Knott and Kayla McGrath have each contributed an assist.
• Forgatch (1-3) has started five of Springfield's first six games and owns a 2.67 goals against average and a .745 save percentage to go along with one shutout.
SCOUTING THE CONTINENTALS
• Hamilton (2-2-1) is unbeaten over its last three games and defeated Utica, 1-0, on Wednesday afternoon.
• The Continentals held a 31-1 edge in shots including 13-1 on goal and scored the go-ahead marker in the 81st minute when Maddie Buck's cross was misplayed by a Pioneers' defender for an own goal.
• Diana Baffor (1-1-3) has the team's lone game-winning goal, while Sarah Flood, Isabel Harvey and Maddie Ledbury have all tallied once over the first five matches.
• Nieve Tonna (1-2-1) has made four starts and owns a 1.25 goals against average and a .800 save percentage.
FEENEY EARNS NEWMAC WEEKLY HONOR
• After scoring her first collegiate goal in Saturday's win over Rowan, Feeney was selected as the league's offensive player of the week on Monday.
• She is the Beavers' first NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week selection since October 23, 2023, when
Jordyn Ferrantino '25 was recognized.
COMFORTS OF HOME
• The Beavers are unbeaten over their last seven games (6-0-2) at Hartwell-Rogers Field dating back to October 12 of last season while outscoring their opponents 14-3.
• In 16 games going back to October 18, 2023, the Green and White is 11-3-3 at home with a pair of wins over nationally-ranked foes.
NEWMAC KNOWLEDGE
• Babson, which advanced to the conference tournament semifinals last season, received one first-place vote and was picked to finish second while Springfield came in third when the NEWMAC released its preseason coaches' poll back in August.
• The Beavers went 5-3-3 and finished fourth in the league standings in 2024 after setting a single-season program record with eight wins in 2023.
