MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— Four members of the Babson College women's soccer team were recognized for their hard work in the classroom when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its Academic All-Conference team on Wednesday.
Senior
Meredith Greeley (Ottawa Hills, Ohio) was named to the league's academic all-conference squad for the third consecutive season, juniors
Ally Clarkson (Reading, Mass.) and
Priscilla-Rose Men-Martin (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.) were honored for the second year in a row, and sophomore
Lillian McAughan (Bellevue, Wash.) is a first-time selection.
A four-year veteran and a Finance major,
Greeley saw action in 18 games with her first seven career starts for the Beavers. She averaged 38 minutes a game and registered two assists, the first in a 1-0 NEWMAC win at Springfield and the second in a 3-0 conference win over Wellesley.
A three-year veteran midfielder and an accounting major,
Clarkson saw action in six matches. She averaged 29 minutes per game on the pitch and scored her first career goal in a 2-2 non-conference tie vs. Hamilton.
A three-year veteran at defensive midfield and an accounting/international business major,
Men-Martin started all 16 of her appearances this season for the Beavers. She earned her second straight All-NEWMAC honors after averaging 79 minutes per game for a Babson defense that allowed just 16 goals in 18 matches with eight shutouts and an 0.89 team goals against average.
A two-year veteran and a Business Analytics and Finance major,
McAughan saw action in 18 games with 15 starts for the Beavers. She tied for third on the team in scoring with five points on two goals and an assist. She scored the first goal in a win over Clark and contributed an assist in a setback to Emerson as well as scoring Babson's only goal in a NEWMAC Tournament loss to Wheaton.
Babson finished the season with an 8-5-5 overall record and a 7-3-1 mark in the NEWMAC. The Beavers were knocked out of the conference tournament in the quarterfinals by Wheaton, 3-1.
In order to be eligible for NEWMAC Academic All-Conference consideration, honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale after the 2025 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at her institution, and been a member of the team for the entire season.
