Women's Basketball Earns Spot on WBCA Academic Honor Roll

ATLANTA—The Babson College women's basketball program was recognized for its hard work in the classroom with Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division III Academic Honor Roll accolades for the second consecutive season earlier this week.

Under the guidance of second-year head coach Kate Barnosky, the Beavers concluded the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.49 grade-point average. In addition to honoring the top 25 GPA's in each division, the WBCA also recognizes each institution that finishes with at least a 3.0 GPA during the year.

Ten of Babson's 16 student-athletes finished both the fall and spring semesters with a 3.50 GPA or better, and 14 players were named to the Dean's List in at least one term in 2024-25. Additionally, the Beavers had 14 of 16 team members finish the academic year with at least a 3.40 GPA.

Babson, which won its final seven games of the regular season to finish second in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) standings, finished the year at 16-10 after falling to WPI in the conference tournament quarterfinals.
