Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mass.—Four players recorded wins in both singles and doubles to help 14th-ranked Babson College cruise to a 7-0 win over Springfield College in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's tennis action on Saturday afternoon. 

With the win, Babson improves to 10-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play. Springfield has dropped its last three matches to slip to 8-6 overall and 3-3 in the NEWMAC. 

The Beavers cruised through doubles winning all three matches 6-1 to earn the first point of the contest. Senior Olivia Soffer (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at number one singles, junior Matia Cristiani (San Salvador, El Salvador) breezed to a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at number two and sophomore Chaniel Soffer (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) won a tough first set on the way to a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Ramida Manataweewat (Bangkok, Thailand) at number three. 

First-year Alessandra Cristiani (San Salvador, El Salvador) rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 result at number four, junior Kamila Stasiowska (Burlington, Conn.) was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at number five and sophomore Riya Matharoo (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory at number six. 

Babson is back in action on Monday when it hosts Salve Regina at 3:30 p.m., while Springfield hosts Smith on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
