WHAT TO KNOW
•    Babson will conclude a four-game home stand on Tuesday against Lasell before hitting the road to face Tufts in Medford, Mass., on Wednesday afternoon. 

SERIES HISTORY
vs. Lasell
•    Babson is 1-0 all-time against that Lasers after rallying for a walk-off win in the first meeting between the teams on April 16, 2024, in Babson Park. 
•    Senior Luke McClintock allowed two runs over 7.0 innings and Luke Tanner M'24 went 3-for-5 and drove in the game-winning run with a an RBI double with one out in the ninth for the Babson, which trailed 4-2 going to the bottom of the eighth. 

vs. Tufts
•    Babson is 8-33 all-time against the Jumbos in a series that dates back to the 1977 campaign. 
•    Wednesday contest will be just the third between the teams since 2009 after playing in 31 of 32 seasons from 1977-2009. 
•    Graduate student Tanner Santos went 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored and classmate Brant Savage drove in three for the Beavers, who built a 9-2 third-inning lead on the way to defeating Tufts, 10-7, April 17, 2024, in Babson Park. 

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    Babson (14-8) has dropped back-to-back games following Monday's 5-3 loss to No. 13/14 Salve Regina. 
•    Senior Justin Guest went 3-for-4 with a run scored and Santos and junior Chris Basile each drove in a run for the Beavers, who took a 3-1 lead in the first inning but stranded nine runners on base in the loss. 
•    Junior Zander Teator is batting .385 with three homers, five doubles, 16 RBI and 15 runs scored, Guest has raised his average to .316 with seven doubles, two homers, 10 RBI and a team-high 19 runs scored, and sophomore Ryan Liss is hitting .316 with four homers, six doubles, 21 RBI and 18 runs scored. 
•    First-year Chase Burrows is 4-0 with a 2.17 ERA and is holding opposing hitters to a .178 average in 29.0 innings, McClintock is 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA and a 0.80 WHIP in 10.0 innings out of the bullpen, and Teator has four saves and a 2.53 ERA to go along with nine strikeouts in 10.2 innings of relief this spring. 

SCOUTING THE LASERS
•    Lasell (18-7) has won five straight and 11 of its last 12 games after defeating Elms, 9-1, on Sunday. 
•    Tim Callahan and Connor Freitas both drove in three runs, CJ Mills doubled, walked and scored three times, and Matthew Fletcher struck out eight and allowed just four hits over 7.0 shutout innings for the Lasers, who pulled away with a five-run ninth inning. 
•    Callahan is batting .464 with 11 doubles, 22 RBI, 17 stolen bases and 28 runs scored, Scott Lyon is hitting .352 with four homers, nine doubles, 25 RBI and 18 runs scored, and Freitas boasts a .352 average to go along with three doubles, two home runs, 25 RBI and 17 runs scored. 
•    Owen Caldwell is 4-0 with a 2.55 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 24.2 innings, Jeremy Blackwood is 3-0 with a 3.24 ERA in 25.0 innings over five starts and Zachary Simone is 2-1 with three saves and 20 strikeouts in 23.2 innings pitched on the year. 

SCOUTING THE JUMBOS
•    Tufts (12-13) has won two straight games after defeating Bowdoin, 10-2, to conclude a three-game set on Monday night in Medford. 
•    Cooper Smith went 4-for-5 with an RBI, Ben Leonard hit a two-run homer and Jacob Lapp struck out seven and allowed just two runs over 7.1 innings for the Jumbos, who had six different players drive in a run in the victory. 
•    Smith is batting .354 with three doubles, a home run, 16 RBI and 17 runs scored, Leonard is hitting .298 with four homers, seven doubles, 14 RBI and 23 runs scored, and Max Pavlik owns a .273 average to go along with three home runs and a team-high 22 runs batted in. 
•    Derek Desmarais is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 10.0 innings pitched, Grant Strother (0-0, 4.82 ERA) is tied for the team lead with seven appearances out of the bullpen and Michael O'Brien is 0-1 with a 5.63 ERA in 8.0 innings on the year. 

BEAVER BITES
•    Guest leads the Beavers with eight multi-hit games, Liss and Savage are tied for second on the team with at least hits in seven games, and first-year Gabe Cushner has recorded six multi-hit games. 
•    Liss, Teator, Savage and senior Walter Sadowsky are tied for the team lead with four multi-RBI games. 
•    Burrows ranks second in Division III in walks per nine innings (0.31), third in WHIP (0.69) and 11th in strikeout-to-walk ratio (10.00). 
•    Santos became Babson's all-time leader passing Steve Tahmoush '08 with the 56th of his career in last week's win over Trinity.

STREAKING BEAVERS
•    Sadowsky is batting .381 (16-for-42) during his 11-game hitting streak. 
•    Santos has reached base safely in 17 straight outings and has a hit in each of his last five games, while Liss has reached base in 16 consecutive starts. 
•    Guest and Teator have reached base in 10 and nine straight games, respectively, while graduate student Jack Julian has a hit in three straight outings. 

TRENDS TO WATCH
•    The Beavers have at least one extra-base hit in all 22 games this season and have worked at least one walk in 35 consecutive outings going back to April 27 of last year.
