SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 64-28 all-time against Coast Guard in a series that dates back to the 1972-73 campaign.
• The Beavers have won 24 of their last 26 games versus the Bears although the teams split last year's regular season series.
• The Green and White has won its last four games in the series at home and is 12-1 against Coast Guard inside Staake Gymnasium since 2012.

Nate Amado scored 10 of his game-high 24 points over the final six-plus minutes and knocked down the go-ahead free throws with 21 seconds remaining as Babson defeated Coast Guard, 74-72, on January 23 in New London, Conn.

Vaughn Foster added 10 for the Beavers, who trailed by as many as seven in the second half before outscoring the hosts 17-9 over the final 8:22 of regulation.
• Declan Rooney finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while Colin Huang added 15 points for the Bears, who led by four at the half and held the Green and White to just 3-of-16 shooting (18.8 percent) from behind the arc.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (15-9, 9-6 NEWMAC) has won three of its last four games and is coming off an 88-69 victory at Salve Regina last Saturday.

Felix Kloman scored 16 of his game-high 26 points over the first nine minutes of the contest and Amado scored 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds and six assists for the Beavers, who built a 54-36 halftime lead and shot a season-best 60.7 percent from the floor in the win.
• Amado (19.0 pts, 8.3 reb, 2.9 ast, 1.5 stl) is shooting 51 percent and ranks first in the league in scoring and second in rebounding, Kloman (18.2 pts, 3.8 reb, 2.3 ast) has scored in double figures four times in five games since returning from injury and is second in the NEWMAC in scoring, and graduate student
Alex Stoddard (11.1 pts, 3.3 reb) has connected on at least on three-pointer in five straight outings.
• The Green and White ranks second in conference play in scoring offense averaging 75.3 points, third in field goal percentage (44.2) and is turning the ball over on just 15.7 percent of its possessions.
SCOUTING THE BEARS
• Coast Guard (10-14, 6-9 NEWMAC) has won two straight and three of its last four outings after edging Salve Regina, 72-68, on Wednesday night.
• Rooney finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, and Elijah Parent added 10 points for the Bears, who forced 16 turnovers and went 6-of-6 at the free throws line over the final 70 seconds to stay alive in the conference playoff race.
• Luke Farrell (14.5 pts, 5.8 reb, 1.3 blocks) ranks fourth in the conference shooting 50.6 percent, Rooney (14.0 pts, 4.8 reb, 3.0 ast) boasts a 3.33 assist-to-turnover ratio over the last four games and Ben Yagey (9.8 pts, 2.6 reb) is third on the team in scoring but is just 6-of-22 shooting over the last three contests.
• Coast Guard ranks third in NEWMAC play in scoring offense averaging 72.3 points and is first in both made free throws per game (15.47) and free throw percentage (80.0).
AMADO GARNERS CONFERENCE RECOGNITION
• After posting a pair of double-double sin wins over Wheaton and Salve Regina, Amado was tabbed as the NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season on Monday.
• He averaged 10.0 rebounds to go along with three blocked shots and two steals and has set new career highs in all three categories this winter.
CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK ON THE HORIZON
• Despite not playing on Wednesday night, the Beavers locked up the third seed behind top-seeded WPI and second-seeded Clark in next week's NEWMAC Tournament.
• The final three spots in the conference playoffs will be decided on Saturday as Springfield (7-8) is currently in fourth place while Coast Guard is locked in a four-way tie with Emerson, Salve Regina and Emerson for fifth place at 6-9 in league play.
BUCKETS OFF THE BENCH
• After combining for 19 points, including 10 during a key stretch to help rescue the Green and White from a 10-point deficit against Wheaton back on February 12, the trio of Frauenheim, junior
Timmy O'Toole and first-year
Logan Murphy contributed 23 points in last Saturday's victory at Salve Regina.
• Murphy finished 4-of-5 from the floor and scored 10 of his season-high 12 points in the first half, O'Toole added six points and Frauenheim chipped in with five points versus the Hawks.
THREE AT A TIME
• For the first time in program history, Babson has three players that have made at least 50 three-pointers this winter in Kloman (52), Stoddard (51) and Mulvey (50).
• All three rank among the top eight in the NEWMAC while combining to shoot 38 percent on the year.
• Back in 2015-16, the trio of associate head coach
Joey Flannery '17, Sam Bohmiller '17 and Nick Comenale '18 each made at least 40 three-pointers and combined to knock down 147 triples while helping Babson reach the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
BEAVER BITES
• Amado, who has posted three straight double-doubles, has scored in double figures in 19 straight games and ranks second in the NEWMAC with a career-high eight double-doubles this winter.
• Stoddard is averaging 14.7 points while shooting 45.6 percent overall and 45.8 percent from behind the arc in 10 games inside Staake Gymnasium this season.
• Mulvey's 50 three-pointers are just six shy of the program's freshman record of 56 set by Michael Kingsley '97 in 1993-94 and matched by Mark Giovino '98 in 1994-95.
• Kloman, who is averaging 16.6 points in give games since returning from injury, made a career-high six three-pointers last Saturday at Salve Regina and has at least on triple in all 20 games this winter.
• O'Toole is second among NEWMAC players in both offensive rebounds (65) and offensive boards per game (2.7).
SENIOR SENDOFF
• Amado and fellow seniors
David Cross and
Aidan Horan will play the final regular season game of their careers on Saturday.
• The trio has helped lead the Beavers to back-to-back NEWMAC Tournament championships and three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, which includes advancing to the second round back in 2022.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 11-2 when leading at halftime this season.
• Babson is 7-0 this winter and 14-1 over the last two years when holding its opponents below 40 percent shooting.
• The Green and White is 11-1 on the season when allowing fewer than 70 points.
