The teams traded baskets over the next four possessions before Ferdinando tied it up at 71-all with 30-foot triple along the left sideline with 18 seconds remaining.

Mulvey answered a tip-in by Jackson with two free throws to make it 73-73 with 3:08 left in the extra session, and the Beavers trailed by just three with under a minute to play but were unable to get any closer.
Mulvey's pull-up jumper rimmed out with 33 ticks left and Jackson went 6-of-6 at the charity stripe over the final 22 seconds to put the game away.
The Beavers shot 50 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc (12-of-28), but were just 11-of-20 from the free throw line (55 percent) and committed a season-high 21 turnovers.
