PROVIDENCE, R.I.— For the second time this season, Babson College senior
Nate Mueller (Rogers, Minn.) was named Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Ice Hockey Goalie of the Week on Monday.
Mueller went 1-0-1 with a 1.44 goals against average and a .940 save percentage after stopping 47 of 50 shots in two starts over the weekend. He made 23 saves in Saturday's 4-2 victory over Williams and then stopped 24 shots during regulation and overtime and all three shootout attempts as the Beavers battled to a 1-1 tie with Amherst on Sunday.
A four-year veteran for the Beavers, Mueller leads the LEC with 430 minutes, a 1.82 goals against average and a .925 save percentage. He ranks 19th in Division III in GAA and 37th in save percentage as well as 13th in winning percentage (5-0-2, .857).
Babson (7-1-2, 4-0-1 LEC) is off for the next four weeks for final exams and the holidays, returning to action against Elmira in the Oswego State Holiday Classic on January 2.
