SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 10-0 all-time against Salve Regina in a series that dates back to 2001.
• The Beavers and Seahawks will meet for just the third time as NEWMAC foes on Wednesday and each of the two previous matches have been decided by a single goal.

Caroline Sutherland scored her first career goal in the 71st minute to help the Beavers defeat Salve Regina, 1-0, on October 26, 2024, in Babson Park.

Nora Ryan '25 made three second-half saves for the Beavers, who finished with a 22-6 edge in shots.
• Jessica Galante hit the crossbar late in the 34th minute and Marissa Perachi saw her scoring chance go off the woodwork in the 49th minute for the Seahawks, who got 10 saves from Reagan Moffatt.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (6-1-4, 5-0 NEWMAC) remained unbeaten in conference play with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Mount Holyoke on Saturday.

Lindsey Cassady broke the scoreless deadlock by converting an 85th-minute penalty kick for her first career goal for the Beavers, who outshot the Lyons 57-2 and matched their season high with 14 corner kicks.

Josie Lee (4-2-10) has at least a point in four of the last seven games, first-year
Izzy Lee (2-1-5) leads the team with two game-winning goals, and classmate
Autumn Simon (1-2-4) is tied for the team lead in assists.

Callahan Cottone (1-1-1) owns a 0.55 goals against average and a .889 save percentage in nine starts, senior
Cleo Grignard (3-0-3) boasts a 0.50 goals against average and a .875 save percentage in seven appearances, and first-year
Maisie Creamer went 2-0 with a 0.50 goals against average and a .833 save percentage in two starts last week.
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
• Salve Regina (3-8-1, 1-4 NEWMAC) has dropped five consecutive matches after suffering a 1-0 defeat at WPI last Saturday.
• Emelia DaPonte made four first-half saves and Moffatt turned away three shots over the final 45 minutes for the Seahawks, who were outshot 15-6 and blanked the third time over their last four outings.
• Perachi (1-2-4) has a goal and an assist in league play and Olivia Tacconi (1-1-3) has one game-winning goal for a Salve Regina offense that has produced just five goals in its first 12 matches.
• DaPonte (2-4) owns a 1.19 goals against average and a .850 save percentage in nine games, while Moffatt (0-3-1) has posted a 1.61 goals against average and a .784 save percentage in eight appearances for the Seahawks, who have recorded four clean sheets.
HISTORY LESSON
• The Beavers are off to their first 5-0 start in NEWMAC play since 2011 when they won their first six games and were unbeaten through their first seven matches.
• Head coach Nellie Pineault's 2014 squad also went unbeaten through its first six league fixtures (5-0-1).
BEAVER BITES
• Babson is one of 32 Division III squads to record at least 50 shots in a game this season, and its 57 attempts last Saturday are the program's most over the last two decades.
• Each of the Beavers' last 12 games going back to last year's NEWMAC Tournament semifinals have been decided by a single goal or finished in a draw.
• The Green and White ranks 35th in Division III in team goals against average (0.55).
STRIKING LATE
• Babson has scored seven of its 11 goals this fall in the second half, which includes tallying four times over the final 13 minutes of a match.
• In addition to Cassady's 85th-minute penalty kick last Saturday,
Josie Lee and
Izzy Lee both scored over the final 5:04 to help the Beavers defeat Coast Guard 2-1 on September 27, and
Josie Lee notched the go-ahead goal in the 78th minute of last Tuesday's 2-1 victory over Clark.
