SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (5-1-4, 4-0-0 NEWMAC) remained perfect in conference play with a 2-1 victory over Clark on Wednesday at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
• Sophomore
Josie Lee scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 78th minute to break a 1-1 tie. Sophomore
Lillian McAughan also scored for the Green and White, sophomore
Alexa Pesiridis and first-year
Izzy Reidy registered assists, and first-year keeper
Maisie Creamer made her first career start in goal and finished with four saves in the victory.

Autumn Simon (0-2-2) shares the team lead in assists.
• Junior
Callahan Cottone (0.55 GAA, .889 sv. pct.) started the first nine games for the Beavers while Grignard (0.57 GAA, .875 sv. pct) has made seven relief appearances between the pipes.
SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Mount Holyoke (1-4-3, 0-3-0 NEWMAC) is looking to stop a three-game losing streak in Saturday's game, including consecutive 3-0 setbacks to WPI, Wheaton and Smith.
• Senior Clarissa Govea made eight saves in the loss to Smith on Saturday, following an 11-save performance against Wheaton and 10 stops vs. WPI. The Lyons' offense has been shut down in six straight games since a 1-1 tie against DeSales on September 7.
• Sophomore Ania McMichael leads the team in scoring with a pair of goals while senior Anna Kennedy has contributed a goal and an assist. Senior Taryn White and first-year Sophia Vandersee have also scored for the Lyons.
• Govea has started eight games and owns a 1.60 goals against average and a .833 save percentage with 60 saves and one clean sheet.
STRONG START IN THE NEWMAC
• Babson has won its first four games to begin NEWMAC play for the first time since 2011 when topped Wellesley, Smith, WPI and Clark en route to going unbeaten over its first seven matches (6-0-1).
• The Beavers join MIT as the only two teams with perfect records in the conference this season. Emerson is unbeaten at 2-0-2, Springfield has three wins (3-1-0), and WPI and Wellesley are each 2-1-1 in the league play.
• Babson has registered a 29-8-9 record in regular season conference matches since 2021 with four straight top-four finishes in the league standings (4th in 2024 and 2021, 2nd in 2022 and 2023).
SIMON EARNS NEWMAC WEEKLY HONOR
• Thanks to her 42nd-minute goal at WPI last Saturday, Simon was selected as the league's offensive player of the week on Monday.
• She is Beavers' second NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week award recipient of the season joining sophomore
Mack Feeney, who was recognized after scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Rowan on September 13.
BY JUST ONE GOAL
• All 10 Babson matches this season have been decided by a single goal or ended in a draw.
• Going back to October 13 of last season, 17 of the Beavers' last 19 contests have either ended with the sides separated by a single or deadlocked.
• The only two games during this stretch that have been decided by a margin of more than one is a 4-0 loss at MIT last October 23 and the Green and White's 3-1 win over Wheaton in last year's NEWMAC quarterfinals on November 5.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 4-0-1 this season and 11-0-3 going back to the start of last season when scoring the first goal of the match.
• Dating back to 2022, Babson is 25-0-4 when leading at halftime.
• The Green and White is 11-3-8 over the last two years when conceding one goal or less.
