SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 53-40 all-time against WPI in a series that dates back to the 1974-75 campaign.
• The Engineers have won seven of the last 10 games between the teams although two of the Beavers' victories during this stretch have come inside Harrington Auditorium.
• Three of the last six contests between the teams have been decided by six points or less since February 2023.

Timmy O'Toole added 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds for Babson, which closed the first half on a 16-7 run and led by as many as 16 midway through the second half.
• Tim Reidy scored 11 of his team-high 16 points in the second half and Brett Marelli added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Engineers, who made just one field goal over a stretch of 12-plus minutes in the second half.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (12-6, 6-3 NEWMAC) has won three straight games and is coming off a 92-81 victory over Emerson on Saturday afternoon.
• Amado matched his career high with 32 points to go along with nine rebounds, five assists and four steals, while Stoddard finished with 18 points and a career-high five assists for the Beavers, who raced out to a 26-12 lead in under six minutes and led by as many as 18 in the second half.
• Amado (19.4 pts, 8.2 reb, 3.0 ast, 1.6 stl) ranks first in the NEWMAC and second in rebounding while shooting 50.7 percent, Kloman (18.8 pts, 4.1 reb, 2.5 ast) is second in the conference in scoring but has missed the last four games, and Stoddard (10.9 pts, 3.2 reb) and first-year
Timmy Mulvey (9.9 pts, 2.7 ast) both rank among the top five in the league in three-pointers.
• The Green and White is 17th in adjusted offense on the year per The D3 Datacast and is shooting 45.5 percent in league play while turning the ball over on just 13.4 percent of its possessions.
SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• WPI (16-2, 8-1 NEWMAC) has won eight consecutive games after escaping with a 58-56 victory at Salve Regina on Saturday afternoon.
• Aidan Callahan led all scorers with 22 points and Brett Marelli finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and two steals, and scored the go-ahead layup with 37 seconds remaining for the Engineers, who trailed by eight with under 10 minutes to play.
• Callahan (16.3 pts, 5.2 ast) is fourth in the conference in scoring and fourth in assists while shooting 49.3 percent from the floor, Reidy (14.8 pts, 2.3 reb) is shooting 42.9 percent from beyond the arc and has made a league-best 57 three-pointers, and JR Newman (10.9 pts, 5.8 reb) has scored in double figures four times in eight starts since December 31.
• WPI ranks fifth in adjusted defense and is also seventh nationally in field goal percentage defense (37.1) and eighth in scoring defense allowing just 61.0 points.
AMADO SWEEPS WEEKLY HONORS
• After averaging 22.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.3 blocks in 36.0 minutes, Amado was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• He recorded his team-leading fifth double-double of the year in last Tuesday's win over Salve Regina and scored 10 of his game-high 24 points, which included the go-ahead free throws, in last Thursday's 74-72 win at Coast Guard before matching his career high in scoring on Saturday.
• Amado, who was named to the Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List earlier this month, ranks second in Babson history with 81 blocked shots, 10th in rebounds (596) and 12th in scoring with 1,387 points.
LIFE ON THE ROAD
• Outside of its 103-68 rout of MIT back on January 11, the Beavers other four NEWMAC road games have been decided by a total of just 10 points this winter.
• Babson suffered a 64-62 loss at Emerson back on December 4 and followed up a 79-75 loss at Clark on January 8 with a 73-71 setback at Wheaton on January 16 prior to last week's two-point win at Coast Guard.
• Over the last calendar year, the Green and White is 6-5 versus conference foes on the road, which includes a NEWMAC Tournament semifinal win at WPI last February and five loses by four points or fewer.
BEAVER BITES
• Over his last 12 NEWMAC games going back to last year Amado is averaging 20.4 points and 8.0 rebounds while shooting 52 percent with four double-doubles.
• O'Toole, who ranks second in the conference averaging 2.8 offensive rebounds per game, has grabbed at least one in 28 of his last 29 outings going back to last January and has pulled down at least four 13 times during this stretch.
• In eight games versus league foes, Stoddard is averaging 13.4 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 40 percent from three-point range.
• Over Babson's last four games, Mulvey and first-year
Ryan Frauenheim have combined to dish out 16 assists while committing just three turnovers.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• Babson has scored at least 70 points in eight straight contests, while WPI has held six of its last nine foes to 60 points or fewer.
• The Beavers have made at least eight three-pointers 12 times in 17 games on the year and is shooting 36.1 percent as a team from beyond the arc. The Engineers ranks first in Division III holding opponents to just 24 percent from long distance.
• Babson has won 10 of its 12 games by at least 10 points, while WPI boasts 11 double-digit victories on the year.
