SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 51-39 all-time against WPI in a series that dates back to the 1974-75 campaign.
• The Beavers have dropped six of their last seven games to the Engineers going back to February 2020.

• Donovan Sevilla scored 15 points and John Adams finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds to help WPI defeat Babson, 61-49, on December 9 in Worcester, Mass.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (8-10, 4-5 NEWMAC) has split its last six games after suffering a 79-75 loss at Emerson on Saturday afternoon.
• Baxter finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists to lead four players in double figures and junior
Nate Amado added 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting for the Beavers, who led 70-56 with 10:22 to play.
• Amado (20.0 pts, 6.8 reb, 1.2 blk) ranks first in the league in scoring, fourth in blocks and sixth in rebounding, Baxter (18.5 pts, 3.7 reb, 3.1 ast) is second in the NEWMAC in scoring and seventh in assists, and O'Toole (7.7 pts, 7.5 reb) is shooting 50.8 percent from the floor.
• The Green and White ranks eighth in the conference in scoring offense (69.7 points) but has scored at least 75 points in three of its last four outings.
SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• WPI (15-3, 8-1 NEWMAC) has won four straight and seven of its last eight games after defeating Salve Regina, 74-58, on Saturday.
• Callahan had 23 points on 6-of-8 shooting to go along with five steals and Sevilla scored 20 points while dishing out three assists for the Engineers, who shot 47.3 percent and led by as many as 23 in the second half.
• Sevilla (13.6 pts, 2.7 reb) is averaging 17 points while scoring in double figures in each of his last eight games, Adams (12.4 pts, 11.2 reb) is shooting 50 percent and has posted eight double-doubles, and Callahan (11.2 pts, 3.9 ast, 3.4 reb, 2.0 stl) has 11 steals over the last three contests.
• WPI ranks seventh in Division III in scoring defense allowing 58.3 points and 38th in field goal percentage defense (39.6).
SUITS AND SNEAKERS
• Babson head coach
Stephen Brennan and his assistant coaches will be taking part in the
21st annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Week when the Beavers host WPI on Wednesday and travel to Clark on Saturday.
• More than 4,000 coaches will participate in the week-long event, which raises awareness and helps save lives from cancer by raising funds and encouraging people to educate themselves about cancer prevention, screening and early detection.
BAXTER EARNS CONFERENCE HONOR
• After averaging 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in his return to action following a three-game absence, Baxter was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• He scored 19 points and converted a three-point play with 11.2 seconds to help the Beavers defeat Coast Guard, 76-75, on Thursday and followed it up with 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists in Saturday's 79-75 loss at Emerson.
• The selection was the second of the year for Baxter, who also earned NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors back on November 20.
FRONTCOURT PRODUCTION

NeJohn Fortes combined for 25 points and 10 rebounds in Saturday's loss at Emerson.
• Mason went 3-of-4 from deep on the way to scoring a season-high 11 points, while Woolhouse finished with 10 points and has averaged 9.5 points on 8-of-10 shooting over the last two games.
• Fortes, who made his collegiate debut at Salve Regina on January 16, had four points, three boards and one assist at Emerson.
BEAVER BITES
• Amado has scored in double figures 16 times in 17 games, has finished with 20 or more points eight times and leads the Beavers with three double-doubles.
• Baxter has scored 16 points or more in 12 of his last 13 outings going back to November 17, and is 32-of-35 at the free throw line in 10 games dating back to November 26.
