SERIES HISTORY
•   Babson is 11-3 all-time against Salve Regina in a series that dates back to the 1982-83 season.
•   The Beavers have won seven of their last eight games against the Seahawks but lost in their last visit to Newport back in November 2021.Â
•   Tuesday's contest is just the sixth between the teams since 2008 and the first members of the same conference.Â

Timmy O'Toole added 12 points for Babson, which pulled away thanks to a 19-0 run midway through the second half.Â
•   Mikey Spencer scored a game-high 34 points and Declan Walmsley added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Seahawks, who led 54-53 with 13:32 remaining after trailing by as many as 14 in the first half.Â
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•   Babson (7-8, 3-3 NEWMAC) bounced back from its worst loss of the season by defeating Wheaton, 76-65, last Thursday night.Â

Aidan Horan added nine for the Beavers, who raced out to a 33-10 lead.Â
•   Amado (20.9 pts, 7.1 reb) ranks first in the NEWMAC in scoring and sixth in rebounding, graduate student
Steph Baxter (18.7 pts, 3.2 ast), who has missed the last two games, is shooting 45.5 percent from three-point range, and O'Toole is averaging 7.7 points and ranks fourth in the league pulling down 7.5 boards.Â
•   The Green and White is committing the second fewest turnovers (11.2) among conference squads and is averaging 71.1 points on 40.2 percent shooting for the year.Â
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
•   Salve Regina (9-6, 3-3 NEWMAC) has won four of its last five games after defeating Coast Guard, 85-73, on the road on Saturday.Â
•   Walmsley posted a double-double (19 points, 12 rebounds) and led five players in double figures, while Clay Brochu and Miles Fiore added 17 and 15 points, respectively, as the Seahawks hit 11 three-pointers and shot 46.7 percent in the win.
•   Walmsley (13.4 pts, 6.7 reb, 2.7 ast) is averaging 16.6 points over the last five games, Brochu (10.9 pts, 3.3 reb) has scored in double figures in six straight outings and Fiore (10.9 pts, 6.7 reb) is shooting 49.1 percent in five contests going back to December 30.
•   Salve Regina leads the conference in both offensive rebounds per game (13.0) and rebounding margin (+8.2) and is third in scoring defense allowing 66.3 points per contest.Â
STUFFING THE STAT SHEET

Jared Flaks did a little bit of everything in last Thursday's win over Wheaton.Â
•   Gorgol knocked down two three-pointers as part of a 10-0 run to open the game and finished with six points, a career-high 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 26 minutes.Â
•   Flaks, who was making just his second career start, finished with six points, season highs of seven boards and four dimes and one steal in 24 minutes. Â
PREYING ON THE SEAHAWKS
•   In two career games against Salve Regina, Amado is averaging 24.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals.
•   He is shooting 48.7 percent (19-of-39) from the floor and 7-of-10 (70 percent) at the free throw line.
LIVING AT THE LINE
•   After seeing its opponents attempt more free throws in each of its first 11 games, Babson has now outscored and taken more attempts at the charity stripe in four consecutive outings.Â
•   The Beavers set new seasons highs in made free throws (18) and attempts (27) last Thursday against Wheaton and have knocked down more free throws (60) than their foes have attempted (51) while shooting 68.9 percent during this four-game stretch.Â
