SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 41-15 all-time against Wheaton in a series that dates back to the 1989-90 season.
• The Beavers have won 22 of the last 25 games against the Lyons but split last season's regular season matchups.

Nate Amado led all scorers with 17 points and hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 60 seconds remaining to help Babson defeat Wheaton, 61-55, on February 1, 2023, in Norton, Mass.

Ryan Cibull M'23 finished with 16 points, four steals and three assists for the Beavers, who closed the game with a 19-7 run.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (6-8, 2-3 NEWMAC) is coming off its most lopsided loss since 1996 after falling 90-54 at Springfield on Tuesday afternoon.

David Cross matched his career high with 13 points and Amado added eight points and game-high nine boards for the Beavers, who shot a season-low 26.5 percent playing without two starters.

Steph Baxter (18.7 pts, 3.2 reb, 3.0 ast) is second in the league in scoring and is shooting 45.5 percent from three-point range, and sophomore

SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Wheaton (8-4, 2-2 NEWMAC) has won two straight games after defeating Salve Regina, 75-64, on Tuesday night.
• Ty Murphy scored a game-high 20 points, Dimetri Iafrate added 14 points and Khaled Thaher posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Lyons, who knocked down eight three-pointers while shooting 51.5 percent in the first half.
• Murphy (14.1 pts, 2.6 reb) has knocked down 19 three-pointers over his last five outings, Tristan Herry (12.1 pts, 3.4 reb, 2.7 ast) is just 3-of-21 shooting over the last three games and Thaher (8.7 Pts, 5.7 reb, 1.3 blk) is shooting 52.3 percent from the floor.
• Wheaton, which is just 1-4 on the road this season, ranks 21st in Division III in adjusted defensive and is holding its foes to 39.3 percent shooting.
GETTING TO THE LINE
• After getting outscored at the charity stripe in 10 of its first 11 outings, Babson has attempted 60 free throws over the last three games while outscoring each of its last three foes.
• The Beavers have shot 70 percent (42-of-60) at the charity stripe against Clark, MIT and Springfield and has generated nearly 25 percent of its offense from the free throw line during this stretch.
SHORT MEMORY
• The Beavers' last loss of 30 or more points came in January 2022 when it suffered an 88-57 defeat at the hands of WPI.
