• Babson (12-6-3) saw its seven-game unbeaten streak come to an end with a 5-0 loss to then-14th-ranked MIT in the NEWMAC Tournament final on Saturday in Cambridge.

• RIT (8-5-5) earned an at-large bid and is making its fifth NCAA Tournament appearance after suffering a 1-0 loss to William Smith in the Liberty League Tournament final last Sunday.
• Emily Sanchez made four of her six saves in the second half for the Tigers, who fell behind in the 35th minute and dropped their first game since September 16 snapping an 11-game unbeaten run.
• Elena Onodera (6-3-15) has three goals in her last six games, Olivia Harris (4-5-13) leads the team in assists and Jessie Gomez (5-2-12) is first on the team with three game-winning markers this fall.
• Sanchez is 8-4-5 in 17 starts and owns a 0.86 goals against average and a .745 save percentage to go along with seven clean sheets on the year.
SCOUTING THE MAMMOTHS
NCAA Tournament Appearance: 21st
Best NCAA Finish: 2001 Division III runner-up
• No. 4 Amherst (16-1-1) captured its second consecutive NESCAC Tournament championship and earned its 21st NCAA Tournament berth with a 2-1 win over Bowdoin for its ninth straight win on Sunday afternoon.
• Abby Schwartz converted a freed from Alyssa Huynh to pull even in the 55th minute and Patience Kum put away a pass from Fiona Bernet in the 81st minute for the go-ahead goal for the Mammoths, who have won nine consecutive games.
• Kum (14-3-31) has produced at least a point in six of the last seven games, Schwartz (8-6-22) is second on the team in assists and Precious Novidzro (6-3-15) has scored four times over the last six contests for a team that ranks 21st nationally in scoring offense.
• Mika Fisher is 7-0-1 in 10 starts with a 0.99 goals against average and a .750 save percentage for a defense that has kept 12 clean sheets and conceded just nine goals this fall.
SCOUTING THE MARINERS
NCAA Tournament Appearance: 3rd
Best NCAA Finish: First round (2019, 2021)
• Maine Maritime (15-4-1) has won three straight games and defeated SUNY Morrisville, 1-0, in the NAC Tournament final to secure its third NCAA berth since 2019 last Saturday.
• Kirra Magaña scored the only goal of the match in the 21st minute and Isa Thesing made two saves for the Mariners, who have lost just once over their last nine contests going back to the start of October.
• Magaña (14-5-33) has eight goals over her last nine outings, Sophia Hernandez (4-5-13) is second on the team in assists and the duo of Annabella Scolaro (5-1-11) and Taylor Webster (4-3-11) have combined to score four game-winning goals.
• Isa Thesing (14-4-1) has started 19 matches and boasts a 0.61 goals against average and a .874 save percentage to go along with eight shutouts.
BEAVERS IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
• Babson is making just its second NCAA Tournament appearance and will serve as a regional host for the first time in school history this coming weekend.
• The Beavers suffered a 1-0 loss to Lynchburg in the first round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament in Glassboro, N.J., in their only other appearance.
TOURNAMENT TESTED
• Babson played against six of the 64 teams in this year's NCAA Tournament, going 2-3-1 in those matches.
• The Green and White defeated both Endicott and 14th-ranked MIT at home and played to a 1-1 draw against Johnson & Wales in its season opener. The losses came against MIT, Bowdoin and Williams.

Olivia Maltbie were all on the All-NEWMAC first team, while Krauss garnered a second-team all-league selection.
• Mapura is the Beavers' first NEWMAC Rookie of the Year selection since Jessica DiPhilippo '15 in 2011, while Pineault became the first Babson coaching staff to be honored since 1998 when Judy Blinstrub was named coach of the year.
FINISHING TOUCH
• Ferrantino scored her 10th goal of the season against Clark in the regular season finale on October 28 helping her become the first Babson player to reach double digits in goals since Amy Festa '13 back in 2012.
• Ferrantino's 26 points are also the most by a Babson player since 2012 and are tied for 13th in single-season program history.
THE USUAL SUSPECTS
• Prior to being shut out in last Saturday's loss at MIT, the Beavers had averaged 2.43 during their seven-game unbeaten streak.

HARTWELL-ROGERS HISTORY LESSON
• Although Saturday's match against RIT will be the first in women's program history at home, Hartwell-Rogers Field has played to a number of historic moments over the years.
• The Beavers have captured all three of their conference titles at home winning the NEW 8 in both 1992 and 1993, as well as the inaugural NEWMAC Tournament in 1998.
• The Babson men also defeated Scranton in OT in the 1980 Division III national championship game on Hartwell-Rogers Field under the direction of head coach Bill Rogers.
