SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 22-24 all-time against Brandeis in a series that dates back to the 1974-75 season.
• The Beavers snapped a two-game skid with last season's victory over the Judges and have now won four of the last six meetings between the teams since 2013.
• The Green and White is seeking its first win over Brandeis at home since 2003 although the programs have met just once inside Staake Gymnasium going back to 2010.
• Four of the last eight games between the teams have been decided by eight points or less.

Andrew Kirkpatrick '23 led four players in double figures with 18 points and Babson shot 54.7 percent on the way to defeating Brandeis, 88-76, on December 8, 2022, in Waltham, Mass.

Ryan Cibull M'23 chipped in with 10 points and five dimes for the Beavers, who outscored the hosts 54-38 in the second half.
• Toby Harris (23 points) and Dylan Lien (20 points) both drained four three-pointers and Ethan Edwards added 15 points for the Judges, who led by as many as 10 while shooting 58.3 percent in the first half.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (2-2) snapped a two-game losing streak with a 78-71 win over Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the consolation game of the Lopata Classic in St. Louis on Saturday afternoon.

Steph Baxter poured in 25 points to go along with five assists and Amado added 15 points and sophomore
Tyler Lauder scored 12 points for the Beavers, who led by as many as 14 late in the first half.
• Baxter (22.0 pts, 4.0 ast, 3.8 reb) is shooting 50 percent from the floor, Amado (21.8 pts, 6.0 reb, 3.5 ast) leads the team with 11 three-point field goals and Lauder (7.5 pts, 5.0 reb) has scored in double figures twice over the first four games.
• The Green and White is shooting 46.3 percent as a team and averaging 80.3 points per game.
SCOUTING THE JUDGES
• Brandeis (1-1) is coming off a 73-56 loss at Rivier last Saturday.
• Harris knocked down three three-pointers and scored 16 points, while Edwards and Sam Adusej both added nine points for the Judges, who shot just 35.6 percent while committing 21 turnovers in the loss.
• Harris is averaging 14.0 points and 5.0 rebounds, Edwards is contributing 12.5 points and 3.0 boards and Ryan Power (9.5 pts, 5.5 reb, 2.5 ast) is shooting 46.7 percent from the floor.
• Led by Harris (19.2) and Edwards (14.8), Brandeis returns five of its top six scorers from a team that finished 12-13 overall and 4-10 in the UAA last winter.
BAXTER COLLECTS CONFERENCE AND NATIONAL HONORS
• After averaging 33.5 points on 51 percent shooting to go along with 5.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds, Baxter was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday and was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week on Tuesday.
• In addition to Saturday's 25-point effort against Wisconsin-Eau Claire, he scored a career-high 40 points in an OT loss to No. 22 WashU on Friday night was selected as the Lopata Classic MVP.
IN GOOD COMPANY
• Baxter became the first Babson player to score 40 points since the 2016-17 season when Joey Flannery '17 did it in back-to-back December games against Tufts (42 points) and Amherst (41 points).
• He also set a new Lopata Classic record for points in the tournament with 65 passing the 60 scored by Mark Giovino '98 in 1997.
BEAVER BITES
• Amado has scored at least 15 points in seven consecutive outings going back to last season and is averaging 20.7 points during this stretch.
• Sophomore
Timmy O'Toole has grabbed at least one offensive rebound in each of his 31 career games and has pulled down 14 through the first four contests this season while averaging a team-high 9.3 boards.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers have outscored their first four opponents 126-60 from beyond the arc.
• Babson has led at the half in three of its first four games and is outscoring opponents by a total of 38 points in the opening period so far this season.
• Going back to the start of last year, the Green and White is 7-3 in games decided by seven points or less.
• The Beavers are 15-4 when shooting at least 40 percent going back to the start of last season.
