POSTSEASON HISTORY
• The teams will meet in the NEWMAC semifinals for the second year in a row and in the conference playoffs for the third time overall on Thursday.
• Babson suffered a 3-2 loss to the Lions, who went on to claim their first NEWMAC Tournament title last November, and dropped a 1-0 decision on the road in the 2018 conference quarterfinals.
LAST MEETING
• Madeline Khaw opened the scoring in the 29th minute and Gina Lukoskie tacked on a goal with 3:55 remaining in the first half as Emerson defeated the Beavers, 2-0, back on October 11 in Babson Park.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Second-seeded Babson (11-5-3) extended its unbeaten streak to six games with a 3-2 win over seventh-seeded WPI in Tuesday's NEWMAC quarterfinals.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
• Third-seeded Emerson (10-6-2) rallied for a 2-1 win over sixth-seeded Coast Guard on Tuesday night in the NEWMAC quarterfinals.
• Khaw scored the equalizer in the 68th minute and Simone Barragan-Shaw tallied the go-ahead marker just over four minutes later for the Lions, who fell behind just 14 seconds into the match.
• Khaw (6-2-14) is tied for second in the league with four game-winning goals, Brittney Righetti (6-1-13) has scored all of her goals against league foes and Lukoskie (3-4-10) leads the team and is tied for ninth in the NEWMAC in assists.
• Schaub has started all 18 games and ranks third in the conference in goals against average (1.00) and second in shutouts (8) to go along with a .795 save percentage.
BEAVERS IN THE POSTSEASON
• The Green and White is making its 37th consecutive conference tournament appearance, which dates back to the formation of the NEW 6 Conference in 1987.
• Babson is 3-6-3 in the semifinal round of the NEWMAC Tournament since 1998 and has advanced to the conference final four times during this stretch defeating Clark in 1998, Wellesley in 2007, MIT on penalty kicks in 2010 and Wheaton in 2015.
• The Beavers, which last appeared in the league final in 2015, won their lone NEWMAC Tournament championship in 1998 after claiming back-to-back NEW 8 Tournament titles in 1992 and 1993.
FINISHING TOUCH
• Ferrantino's tally on Saturday helped her become the first Babson player to score at least 10 goals since 2021 when Amy Festa '13 finished with 12 markers.
• Her 24 points are also the most by a Babson player since 2012.
VETERAN PRODUCTION
• During the current six-game unbeaten run, the Beavers have outscored their opponents 15-7.
• Ferrantino (4g), Knauf (3g, 2a), Krauss (2g, 2a), Maltbie (3g) and senior
Cassie Lawson (1g, 4a) have combined for 13 goals and eight assists during this stretch, and both Knauf and Lawson have points in three straight games.
REGIONAL IMPACT
• The Beavers, who were second, were among three NEWMAC teams listed when NCAA released its third Region II rankings on Wednesday.
• MIT, which suffered its only loss of the conference season to Babson, is ranked first in the region, while Emerson is currently fourth.
WHEN 90 MINUTES ISN'T ENOUGH
• No overtime was played during regular season contests for the second consecutive season but all postseason matches will feature two 10-minute periods of extra time if a game is deadlocked at the end of regulation.
• If the game remains tied after both overtime sessions, a winner will be decided by penalty kicks.
