• Clark (8-5-4, 3-5-2 NEWMAC) has dropped two straight games after suffering a 1-0 loss to Wheaton on Wednesday night.
• The Cougars finished with a 13-5 edge in shots but fell behind in the 67th minute after conceding a penalty kick that turned out to be the Lyons' lone shot on goal in the match.
• Siobhan Lounsbury (5-4-14) is tied for fifth in the conference in points and has four game-winning goals, Isabella Ramirez (3-3-9) and Emma Tziachris (3-3-9) have both scored once in league play and Jamie Stern (2-3-7) has scored both her goals against NEWMAC foes.
• White has started 16 of 17 games and boasts a 0.88 goals against average and a .774 save percentage to go along with seven shutouts.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
• The Beavers enter the final day of the regular season with 23 points and are tied for second place with Emerson.
• Babson is assured of a home NEWMAC Tournament quarterfinal match next Tuesday and need either a win coupled with a tie or loss by the Lions or a tie and an Emerson loss to first-place MIT to secure the No. 2 seed.
• Clark enters the game in seventh place and is one of five teams vying for the final three spots in the eight-team conference tournament. The Cougars are assured of a playoff spot with a win.
SENIOR CELEBRATION
• Saturday's contest will be the last at home for Knauf, Lawson, Maltbie and fellow seniors

• Despite having the 2020 campaign canceled due to the pandemic, the group has helped the Beavers to a record of 32-13-9 over the last three seasons.
• The senior class also helped the Green and White make its debut in the Division III national polls last season on the way to recording the most victories (14) since 2015.
REGIONAL IMPACT
• For the second season in a row, Babson holds the No. 2 spot in the second edition of the NCAA Region II rankings, which were released on Wednesday afternoon.
• The Beavers are 2-4 this season against regionally-ranked opponents and are one of three teams from the NEWMAC in this week's rankings along with MIT (first) and Emerson (fourth).
FERRANTINO EARNS CONFERENCE RECOGNITION
• After scoring the opening goal in wins over both No. 9 MIT and Salve Regina, Ferrantino was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• She has scored seven goals over the last 10 matches and has at least one point in six of the 10 contests.
CONFERENCE SUCCESS
• Babson is 18-4-7 against NEWMAC foes going back to October 13, 2021, which includes an 8-3-4 mark at home in conference play.
• A victory on Saturday would give the Beavers eight wins in league play for the first time in program history.
