• Babson (7-5-2, 5-1-1 NEWMAC) snapped a two-game skid with a 2-1 comeback victory over Smith on Saturday in Northampton, Mass.

Callahan Cottone (1.50 GAA, .793 sv pct) started the first 13 games this season for the Beavers and ranks third in the NEWMAC with 69 saves and is tied for fifth with four shutouts.
SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• No. 9 MIT (13-1-1, 7-0-0 NEWMAC) brings an eight-game winning streak into Wednesday's matchup, having conceded just four goals in that stretch.
• Senior Meagan Rowlett and English led the Engineers with two goals apiece in Monday's 6-1 victory at Lesley, and seniors Lexi Spinetta and first-year Katherine Ruan added one goal apiece. Graduate student Kaitlin Zarena, Ruan and English all scored for the Engineers in their most recent conference victory, a 3-0 whitewash over Salve Regina on Saturday.
• Rowlett (8-6-22) tops the NEWMAC in goals and points and shares the league lead in assists with Sean Luk (1-6-8). Junior Natalie Barnouw (7-3-17) is tied for second in goals and English (5-2-12) and Ruan (5-0-10 are tied for the third on the team in goals.
• Senior Morgan Everett (0.65 GAA, .826 sv pct, 5 SO) has started 14 of MIT's 15 games and leads the league in goals against average and ranks second in save percentage and shutouts.
LOOKING AT THE CONFERENCE
• MIT (21 points) holds a lead over second-place Babson (16) and Emerson (16) in the league standings in the 12-team NEWMAC, with seven of the 11 conference games in the books.
• Springfield (15) is a point back in fourth place, joining the others as favorites to earn home-field advantage in the quarterfinals of the NEWMAC Tournament, which begins on October 31.

• The Green and White have gotten goals from five different players over the past five games.
