SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 38-39 all-time against Clark in a series that dates back to the 1934-35 season.
• The Beavers have won 14 of the last 15 games against the Cougars going back to the 2013-14 campaign.
• The Green and White have captured the last eight contests at Staake Gymnasium since the 2013-14 season, winning by an average of more than 20 points per game.

LAST MEETING
• Junior Kieran Dorney and sophomore Nate Amado both scored 17 points as Babson rolled to an 85-61 win over visiting Clark on February 12, 2022 inside Staake Gymnasium.
• Dorney added 11 rebounds and four assists to post his team-leading sixth double-double as four Beavers finished in double figures. Colin Bradanese '22 scored 14 points, James Welch '22 added 12 points and graduate student Mitchell Kirsch '22G contributed seven points and four boards to go along with a game-high eight assists.
• Biko Gayman '22G finished with 11 points to lead the Cougars.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (10-7, 3-3 NEWMAC) has won its last two games including a 79-60 conference verdict over Coast Guard last Saturday in New London, Connecticut.
• Senior Andrew Kirkpatrick led four players in double figures with a game-high 20 points, connecting on 4-of-5 from three-point range. Sophomore Aidan Horan came off the bench to score 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting, graduate student Ryan Cibull drilled four three-pointers to finish with 12 points along with six assists, first-year Timmy O'Toole added 12 points and five rebounds, and classmate Tyler Lauder led all players with a career-high 10 boards.
• Amado (20.7 pts, 7.5 reb) has missed seven consecutive games, Kirkpatrick (15.4 pts, 3.0 ast) extended his double-figure scoring streak to 13 consecutive games and Cibull (8.9 pts, 2.8 ast) has scored in double digits in his last six games, including a pair of 21-point outings.
• The Green and White ranks second in the NEWMAC in both defensive efficiency (0.93 points/possession), forced turnovers (15.9) and steals per game (9.5).

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• Clark (10-7, 2-4 NEWMAC) snapped a four-game losing skid last Saturday at home with an 80-62 NEWMAC victory over Springfield inside the Kneller Gymnasium.
• Sophomore Isaiah Taylor poured in a team-high 22 points and dished out seven assists to lead a group of four Cougars who scored in double figures. Junior Jordan Richard contributed 15 points, sophomore Ian Calabrese finished with 13 points off the bench, draining four three-pointers , and first-year Reid Neumann chipped in with 11 points. Sophomore Kekoa McArdle matched his season high with 16 rebounds and junior Mikey O'Brien equaled his career high with nine assists.
• Taylor (17.5 pts, 4.1 reb, 4.7 ast) is fifth in the NEWMAC in scoring and second in assists while Neuman (12.1 pts, 4.8 reb, 4.7 ast) has scored in double figures in five of his six conference games. O'Brien (10.2 pts, 5.4 reb, 5.4 ast) leads the conference in assists and McArdle (9.5 pts, 9.4 reb) in second in the league in rebounds and field goal percentage (58.6).
• Clark leads the NEWMAC and ranks sixth in Division III with 11.6 three-pointers per game and tops the conference and ranks 23rd in Division III in three-point field goal percentage (38.3).

NEWMAC NUMBERS
• Babson ranks second in the NEWMAC in scoring defense, allowing 66.4 points per game. The Beavers are sixth in the conference in scoring offense, averaging 70.2 points an outing.
• Clark is fourth in the conference in scoring defense, conceding 72.6 points per contest. The Cougars lead the league in scoring offense, producing 81.9 points a game.

CHECKING THE STANDINGS
• Wednesday's games mark the halfway point of the NEWMAC schedule. The top five teams will qualify for the conference tournament.
• Babson is tied with Wheaton for third place with 3-3 marks, while Clark is in a three-way with Springfield and Coast Guard for fifth place at 2-4. WPI (6-0) has a one-game lead over Emerson (5-1) for the top spot.

ROOKIES MAKING THEIR MARK
• O'Toole has started all 17 games for the Beavers, averaging 6.7 points and 6.9 rebounds (tied for fifth in the NEWMAC) and is also tied for fourth in the league with 1.8 steals per game. He has scored in double figures in two of his last three games.
Mark Woolhouse has started four of his 16 games, averaging 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds. Lauder has started five of his nine outings, averaging 3.2 points and 4.3 rebounds.

COACHES VS. CANCER SUITS AND SNEAKERS WEEK
• Babson head coach Stephen Brennan and his assistants will once again take part in the 20th annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Week when his team hosts Clark on Wednesday and Emerson on Saturday.
• More than 4,000 coaches will participate in the week-long event, which raises awareness and helps save lives from cancer by raising funds and encouraging people to educate themselves about cancer prevention, screening and early detection.

BEAVER BITES
• Cibull is averaging 14.7 points in his last six games, shooting 57.1 percent from the field (32-of-56) and 50 percent from three-point range (12-of-24).
• Sophomore Aidan Horan scored a career-high 14 points in the win over Coast Guard, making 5-of-7 shots, including 3-5 from long range.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 6-1 this season and 19-2 over the past two campaigns when outrebounding their opponents.
• Babson is 6-3 this winter and 26-7 since the start of the 2020-21 season when leading at halftime.
• The Green and White have won 13 of 16 games over the last two seasons when forcing 16 turnovers or more.

• The Beavers are home again this Saturday, hosting Emerson at 1 p.m. inside Staake Gymnasium.
