SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 40-14 all-time against Wheaton in a series that dates back to the 1989-90 campaign.
• The Beavers have won 21 of their last 23 games against the Lyons, which includes six consecutive double-digit victories since 2019.
• The Green and White is 11-1 against Wheaton inside Staake Gymnasium since 2011.

LAST MEETING
Colin Bradanese '22 led all players with 19 points and junior Kieran Dorney added 16 points and 15 rebounds to help Babson defeat Wheaton, 80-70, on February 2, 2022, in Norton, Mass.
• Senior Andrew Kirkpatrick finished with 13 points and James Welch '22 added 12 for the Beavers, who used a 26-5 run to build a 50-33 lead at the break.
• Senior Marckenley Lima scored 15 points and classmate Aaron Williams produced 13 points and nine rebounds to lead the Lyons, who shot just 35.3 percent.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (8-6, 1-2 NEWMAC) has dropped three of its last four games and is coming off a 61-49 loss to No. 14 WPI on Wednesday night.
• Kirkpatrick scored 18 points, junior John Gorgol finished with a season-high 12 points and senior Aaron Gao added 11 for the Beavers, who were held to their fewest points since 2018.
• Sophomore Nate Amado (20.7 pts, 7.5 reb) ranks second in the NEWMAC in scoring but has missed four straight games, Kirkpatrick (15.3 pts, 3.2 ast) has scored in double figures in 10 straight contests, and Cibull (8.5 pts, 2.3 ast) is shooting 47.4 percent from the floor.
• The Green and White ranks second in both scoring defense (65.0 points) and defensive efficiency (0.96 pts/poss) in league play.

SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Wheaton (7-6, 2-1 NEWMAC) has won back-to-back games for the first time this season after defeating Springfield, 86-73, on Wednesday.
• Senior Alex Carlisle had 19 points and five assists, Williams scored 16 points and Evan Cook added 13 points to lead four players in double figures for the Lyons, who finished 27-of-33 at the free throw line.
• Williams (21.1 pts, 8.5 reb) has posted six double-doubles while scoring at least 16 points in 11 straight games, Carlisle (18.0 pts, 4.2, reb, 4.0 ast) ranks fifth in the conference in scoring, and Cook (11.5 pts, 3.2 reb) is shooting 39.2 percent from beyond the arc.
• Over its first three NEWMAC games, Wheaton is averaging 1.14 points per possession and shooting 47.1 percent from the floor.

BLOCK PARTY
• First-year Tyler Lauder finished with a career-high five blocked shots as part of the Beavers' season-best eight blocks in Wednesday's loss to WPI.
• He has blocked seven shots while averaging 6.7 rebounds over the last three games.

STUFFING THE STAT SHEET
• In addition to scoring in double figures in three consecutive games, Gao is averaging 3.0 rebounds and 2.7 steals in league play.
• First-year Timmy O'Toole is averaging 8.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals over the last four games and has hauled down at least two offensive boards in six consecutive games going back to December 8. He also is the only player on the team with at least one offensive rebound and one steal in all 14 games this winter.

RIGHT AT HOME
• In four games inside Staake Gymnasium this season, Kirkpatrick is averaging 17.3 points, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting 48.4 percent.
• Amado is averaging 20.0 points in three games at home and Gorgol is 6-of-11 (54.5 percent) from three-point range inside Staake Gymnasium this winter.

HEATING UP
• Cibull, who has missed two straight contests, averaged 16.3 points while shooting 70.6 percent (24-of-34) from the floor and 7-of-10 from long range in four starts between December 8-January 4.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• Babson is 6-1 this season and 42-3 going back to the 2018-19 campaign when holding its opponents below 70 points.
• The Beavers are 7-3 this winter when committing 13 turnovers or fewer.
• The Green and White has pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 12 of 14 games this year.
• Babson is 5-1 this season and 38-3 going back to the start of the 2019-20 campaign when outrebounding its opponents.
