SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 58-27 all-time against Coast Guard in a series that dates back to the 1972-73 season.
• The Beavers have won 18 of the last 19 games against the Bears, which includes 13 victories by double figures.
• Babson has been victorious in each of its last 10 trips to Roland Hall dating back to 2011.

LAST MEETING
• Senior Colin Bradanese scored 21 points on 10-of-14 shooting and sophomore Kieran Dorney added 19 points and nine rebounds to help the Beavers defeat Coast Guard, 89-72, on January 22, in Babson Park.
• First-year Nate Amado posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards and first-year Rob Crouch finished with 11 points for the Beavers, who shot 52.2 percent.
• First-year Ben Yagey scored 16 points and classmate Declan Rooney added 14 to pace four players in double figures for the Bears.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (17-6, 10-2 NEWMAC) rolled to an 85-61 win over Clark on Saturday in its regular season home finale.
• Dorney and Amado both scored 17 points and Bradanese added 14 for the Beavers, who outscored the Cougars 42-15 over the first 13-plus minutes of the second half.
• Bradanese (14.6 pts, 6.3 reb) is shooting 53.4 percent from the floor, Dorney (12.1 pts, 6.6 reb) leads the squad with six double-doubles and Amado is averaging 11.3 points and a team-high 7.0 boards.
• Babson ranks first in league play in scoring offense (80.4 points) and second in both field goal percentage (45.7) and points per passion (1.06).

SCOUTING THE BEARS
• Coast Guard (5-16, 2-10 NEWMAC) has dropped five consecutive games and is coming off an 89-60 loss at No. 22 WPI on Saturday.
• Rooney finished with 16 points and junior Jarrod Jackson and senior Garrett Drummond added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Bears, who shot just 32.1 percent.
• Drummond (14.1 pts, 3.4 ast) leads the team in scoring and assists, senior Tyler Perez is averaging 10.8 points and a team-high 8.0 rebounds, and Yagey (10.1 pts, 2.2 reb) has knocked down 38 three-pointers, which ranks seventh in the NEWMAC.
• Coast Guard ranks first in conference play in free throw attempts (21.0/game) and second in offensive rebounds per game (10.3).

PLAYOFF PUSH
• The Green and White enters the final week of the regular season in second place in the league standings just a game behind first-place WPI.
• The Beavers have already secured a top-two seed and a home semifinal next week and must win their final two games and have the Engineers drop their remaining contests to move into the top spot.

CONFERENCE HONORS FOR DORNEY
• After averaging 19.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 57.1 percent from three-point range in wins over Springfield and Clark, Dorney was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• Entering the final week of conference play he ranks ninth in scoring (14.4 points), second in three-point field goal percentage (48.5), third in three-point field goals (33) and fifth in rebounds per game (7.6).

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON
• Graduate student Mitchell Kirsch has dished out 103 assists in 23 starts this winter and is now one of just 14 players to surpass the 100-assist mark in single-season program history.
• He ranks 22nd in Division III in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.71) and is averaging 5.3 assists in league play, which ranks second.
• His father, David Kirsch '85, handed out 131 dimes in 1985-86 and 107 in 1984-85, and ranks sixth on Babson's career list with 317 assists.

CATCHING FIRE
• Senior James Welch, who made his first two starts since early December in wins over Springfield and Clark, averaged 14.5 points and shot 69.2 percent (9-of-13) from beyond the arc.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 15-3 on the year when shooting at least 40 percent from the field.
• Babson is 11-1 this season and has won 31 of its last 33 games when outrebounding its opponents.
• The Beavers are 9-0 this winter and have won 22 consecutive games when holding opponents below 70 points.

• Babson closes out the regular season with a trip to Cambridge to face MIT on Saturday at 2 p.m.
