SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (14-5, 7-1 NEWMAC) ran its winning streak to five with an 87-79 OT victory at Emerson on Sunday.

SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Wheaton (6-13, 1-7 NEWMAC) snapped a 10-game skid with a 90-84 win at Coast Guard on Monday night.
• Alex Carlisle scored a game-high 24 points and Williams added 23 and 11 rebounds for the Lyons, who shot 50 percent and led by as many as 16 points early in the second half.

COMING THROUGH IN THE CLUTCH
• Bradanese, who was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, played a pivotal role in both of the Beavers' overtime road victories last week.
• He combined with Kirsch to score all 14 of Babson's points in the extra session of Wednesday's 71-68 win at Clark and then scored the first seven points of overtime at Emerson to keep the Green and White in a tie atop the league standings.
