SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 20-21 all-time against Bowdoin in a series that dates back to 1974.
• The Beavers have won three straight in the series, all by double figures, since 2018.
• The home team has been victorious in 10 of the last 12 meetings between the Babson and the Polar Bears.
• Five of the last 10 matchups between the squads have been decided by five points or less.

LAST MEETING
Colin Bradanese '22 scored 26 points and Kieran Dorney added 18 points to help the Beavers coast to a 78-54 win over Bowdoin on November 28, 2021, in Babson Park.
Rob Crouch finished with 12 points and sophomore Parker Mason contributed nine points and five rebounds in his collegiate debut for the Babson, which opened the game with a 22-2 run.
• Junior Michael Simonds scored 13 points, while senior Xander Werkman and sophomore James McGowan added 11 points apiece for the Polar Bears.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (4-2) has won two straight games and is coming off a 66-54 victory over Amherst on Wednesday afternoon.
• Sophomore Nate Amado scored a game-high 20 points and senior Andrew Kirkpatrick added 18 points for the Beavers, who jumped out to a 19-3 lead and held the visiting Mammoths to just 26.7 percent shooting.
• Amado (24.2 pts, 8.3 reb) ranks 17th in Division III in scoring and is shooting 48.7 percent from the floor, Kirkpatrick (13.5 pts, 4.2 ast, 2.0 stl) leads the team with 10 three-pointers, and first-year Timmy O'Toole is contributing 7.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in six starts.
• The Green and White is averaging 13.8 offensive rebounds and forcing 16.8 turnovers over its first six contests.

SCOUTING THE POLAR BEARS
• Bowdoin (2-2) has won two straight games and is coming off an 81-51 victory over the University of New England on Tuesday.
• McGowan scored a game-high 17 points and Werkman finished with 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting to lead five players in double figures for the Polar Bears, who shot 52.9 percent in the win.
• McGowan (20.8 pts, 7.3 reb) has scored 20 or more points in three of his first four outings, Simonds is averaging 16.3 points and 4.3 boards, and Werkman (8.8 pts, 4.5 reb) is shooting 61.5 percent on the year.
• Bowdoin is shooting 46.1 percent as a team over its first four games and owns a +5.0 rebounding margin.

WHAT'S YOUR 20
• Amado is the first Babson player to score at least 20 points in six consecutive games since 2017 when Joey Flannery '17 finished his storied career with 10 straight outings of 20 or more points on the way to leading the Beavers to their first Division III national championship.
• He scored a career-high 31 points in last Saturday's loss to Tufts and has shot 56 percent from the floor over the Beavers' last three games.

PRETTY GOOD COMPANY
• Babson head coach Stephen Brennan earned the 451st victory of his career on Wednesday against Amherst and ranks 15th among active Division III coaches in wins.
• He is one of 12 active Division III coaches with at least 450 wins and a .600 winning percentage and one of just two along with Dave Macedo of Virginia Wesleyan that owns a national championship.

STUFFING THE STAT SHEET
• Senior Aaron Gao came off the bench to contribute nine points, four rebounds and two steals in Wednesday's win, while junior John Gorgol added nine points, five boards, one assist and one block against Amherst.
• O'Toole has pulled down four or more rebounds to go along with at least one steal in six consecutive games, while Kirkpatrick has registered at least one pilfer in all six of his starts.

SUCCESS AGAINST THE NESCAC
• The Beavers are 4-2 over the last two seasons against NESCAC foes, which includes a pair of double-digit victories over Amherst in addition to wins over Bowdoin and Bates at home last season.
• Babson's only losses during this run came at Tufts last Saturday (82-73) and in OT to Colby in a game where it led by as many as 13 in the second half back on November 23, 2021.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers have held their opponents below 43 percent shooting in each of their four wins to start the season.
• Babson is 3-0 on the year and 36-2 going back to the start of the 2019-20 campaign when outrebounding its foes.
• The Green and White has grabbed 11 or more offensive rebounds in every game this season and 10 straight outings going back to last year.
• The Beavers have forced 17 or more turnovers in three of their four wins to begin the season.
