SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 1-5 all-time against Harvard in a series that dates back to 1991.
• The Beavers and Crimson met in six consecutive seasons between 1991-96.
• The Green and White has dropped its last five in the series after winning the initial meeting between the programs 100-80.
LAST MEETING
• Kyle Snowden scored 23 points and Dave Weaver added 16 to help Harvard defeat Babson, 110-67, on December 2, 1996, in Cambridge, Mass.
• Mark Giovino '98 finished with 14 points and Mike Kmiec added 10 points for the Beavers, who shot just 32.9 percent in the loss.
• The Crimson shot 63.9 percent from the floor and led 50-31 at halftime.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (6-4) pulled out an 82-80 OT victory over Salem State in the consolation game of the New England Big 4 Challenge on Saturday.
• Sophomore Kieran Dorney scored 21 points and pulled down a career-high 21 rebounds, while senior Colin Bradanese added 21 points and forced OT with a late three-pointer.
• Bradanese (16.6 pts, 7.6 reb) is shooting 52.5 percent from the floor, first-year Nate Amado is averaging 11.7 points and 7.4 rebounds, and graduate student Mitchell Kirsch (9.3 pts, 4.2 reb, 3.9 ast, 1.6 stl) leads the team in assists and steals.
• The Green and White is committing just 11.6 turnovers per outing while holding opponents to 28.6 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
• Harvard (5-4) has dropped its last two games after suffering an 87-77 loss at UMass on Saturday.
• Chris Ledlum finished with 20 points and Noah Kirkwood added 16 points and six assists for the Crimson, which outscored the Minutemen 42-22 in the paint.
• Ledlum is averaging team highs of 17.0 points and 9.2 rebounds, Kirkwood (16.3 pts, 4.8 reb, 3.1 ast, 2.7 stl) is shooting 48.7 percent in nine starts, and Luka Sakota (11.9 pts, 3.3 reb, 2.6 ast) leads the team with 19 three-point field goals.
• Harvard is making 10.4 three-pointers per game and shooting 38.2 percent from downtown.
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
• Erik Dellasanta made 13-of-16 shots on the way to scoring a game-high 31 points to help Babson defeat Harvard, 100-80, in the first meeting between the teams on December 11, 1991, in Cambridge.
• Babson Hall of Famers Matt Miller and Jim Pierrakos both scored 20 points and Scott Leip added 13 points and a game-best eight assists for the Beavers.
• The Green and White shot 68.6 percent (24-of-35) in the second half while outscoring the Crimson 63-40 over the final 20 minutes.
• Babson's 1991-92 team went on to win the Constitution Athletic Conference (CAC) and earned the program's first NCAA Tournament bid in program history.
TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE
• Babson fifth-year assistant coach David Lang graduated from Harvard in 1989 and was a four-year member of the Crimson's men's basketball program.
• He helped the Crimson tie for third place in the Ivy League as a senior in 1988-89 and later returned to earn his MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1995.
GETTING AFTER IT ON THE GLASS
• Dorney's 21 rebounds in Saturday's win are the most by a Babson player going back to at least 2009-10 and are tied for the seventh most by a Division III player so far this season.
• In eight games prior to Saturday, Dorney had pulled down a total of 22 boards.
NUMBERS GAME
• Babson recorded new season highs in offensive rebounds (28), total rebounds (53) and assists (24) in Saturday's win.
• The Beavers also matched their highest total of the year by making nine three-point field goals and scored a season-high 26 second-chance points.
• The 95 field goal attempts on Saturday are the program's most since at least the 2007-08 campaign.
BENCH MOB
• Babson's reserves have scored at least 10 points in every game this season and are averaging 24.3 points per game.
• The Beavers' subs scored a season-high 46 points in an 82-71 win over Bates on November 20, which was highlighted by graduate transfer Spencer Cline pouring in a career-high 31 points.
