SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 15-13 all-time against Bates in a series that dates back to 1960.
• The teams have split their last eight matchups going back to 2010.
• The Beavers' last three wins over the Bobcats (2016, 2018, 2019) have all come by double digits, while their last three loses (2014, 2015, 2017) have each been by five points or less.
• The home team has won six of the last eight meetings between the programs.

LAST MEETING
• Frank Oftring '20 finished with 16 points and 18 rebounds to help Babson defeat Bates, 76-48, on November 24, in Lewiston, Maine.
• Jack Coolahan '20 and Crew Ainge '21 added 10 points apiece for the Beavers, who opened the game with a 22-4 run.
• Stephon Baxter came off the bench to score a team-high 11 points for the Bobcats, who shot just 23 percent.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (3-2) has dropped its last two games after suffering a 76-59 loss to No. 9 Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Wednesday.
• Senior Colin Bradanese scored 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting and graduate student Spencer Cline and first-year Nate Amado added 10 points apiece for the Beavers, who shot a season-low 34.4 percent.
• Bradanese (15.6 pts, 8.6 reb) is shooting 52.2 percent from the floor, Amado (13.0 pts, 7.8 reb) is tied for first on the team with two double-doubles, and graduate student Mitchell Kirsch is contributing 8.6 points and a team-high 2.4 assists in five starts.
• Babson has limited its first five opponents to just 29.1 percent shooting from three-point range.

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
• Bates (1-1) is coming off a 71-68 win at Saint Joseph's (Maine) on Monday night.
• Baxter scored a game-high 25 points and hit the game-winning three-pointer with 0:02 left for the Bobcats, who trailed by 10 with 4:33 remaining.
• Baxter is averaging 28.0 points on 60 percent shooting over the first two games, Drew Sachs (7.0 pts) is 4-of-10 from three-point range, and Devin Harris (6.5 pts, 8.5 reb) leads the team in rebounds.
• Bates has held its first two opponents to just 35.4 percent shooting and owns a +6.0 rebounding margin.

NOTHING BUT NESCAC
• Saturday's contest against Bates is the first of three straight games against NESCAC foes over the next nine days.
• The Beavers travel to Colby on November 23 and return home to face Bowdoin on November 28.
• The Green and White also has a potential meeting with Tufts at the New England Big 4 Challenge on December 4 and will visit Amherst on December 31 before opening league play.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• Babson is 3-0 this season when allowing less than 70 points but has given up 78 and 76 points in its two losses.
• The Beavers are 17-4 at home going back to the start of the 2019-20 campaign.
