No. 23 Men's Basketball at Coast Guard

SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 56-27 all-time against Coast Guard in a series that dates back to the 1972-73 season.
• The Beavers have won 17 of their last 18 games against the Bears, a run that includes 11 victories by double digits.
• Babson has been victorious in each of its last nine trips to New London going back to 2011.

LAST MEETING
• Senior Jack Coolahan scored the go-ahead hoop with 4.1 seconds to go in OT to help the Beavers rally for a 94-92 win over Coast Guard back on January 15 in Babson Park.
• Junior Andrew Jaworski scored 26 points and classmate Crew Ainge finished with 23 points and four steals for the Beavers, who erased an 18-point halftime deficit.
• Sophomore Tyler Perez scored 23 points and senior Noah Baldez added 20 for the Bears, who shot 56.9 percent in the loss.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
• Coast Guard (7-10, 2-5 NEWMAC) has won two of its last three games after rallying for an 87-84 victory at Wheaton on Wednesday night.
• Sophomore Garrett Drummond scored 21 of his career-high 33 points in the second half for the Bears, who trailed by as many as 16 just before halftime.
• Senior Packy Witkowski (13.9 pts, 4.1 reb) is averaging 17.0 points over the last three games, Baldez (13.5 pts, 4.5 ast) ranks fourth in the NEWMAC in assists, and senior Justin Kane (12.3 pts, 6.5 reb) is shooting 46.3 percent from the floor.
• Since the January 15 loss at Babson, Coast Guard is shooting 50.8 percent and averaging 86.2 points per game.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 23 Babson (15-3, 5-2 NEWMAC) has won three straight games following Wednesday's 86-84 victory over Emerson.
• Jaworski scored 26 points and first-year Andrew Kirkpatrick had a season-high 18 for the Beavers, who took the lead on a put back from sophomore Colin Bradanese with 0.4 seconds left.
• Jaworski (17.3 pts, 6.4 reb) has scored at least 20 points in four of seven conference games, Coolahan (17.2 pts, 4.2 reb) is shooting 54.3 percent, and Ainge (11.4 pts, 4.6 ast, 4.2 reb) ranks third in the NEWMAC in assists.
• The Green and White ranks 14th in Division III in field goal percentage (49.7) and 32nd in scoring offense averaging 86. 2 points.

DOWN BUT NEVER OUT
• After trailing by no more than seven points in any game over its first nine contests, the Green and White has now rallied from a pair of double-digit second-half deficits in NEWMAC play.
• The Beavers came back from 19 down to defeat Coast Guard in OT in mid-January and then rallied from a 12-point deficit in Wednesday's two-point win over Emerson.

BEAR HUNTER
• Coolahan, who failed to make a three-pointer and reach double figures for the first time since December 31 in Wednesday's win over Emerson, has been the Beavers' most consistent player against Coast Guard over the last two seasons.
• He is shooting 58.3 percent from the floor and 50 percent from beyond the arc (11-of-22) while averaging 20 points and 4.3 rebounds in three games versus the Bears.

TURNOVER CHAIN
• The Green and White committed just six turnovers on Wednesday night while turning 21 miscues by Emerson into 24 points.
• Only second-ranked Saint John's (Minn.) and No. 7 St. Thomas (Minn.) turn the ball over less than Babson, which boasts a NEWMAC-best turnover rate of just 13.2 percent.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 8-0 on the year when outscoring their opponents at the free throw line.
