SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 55-25 all-time against MIT in a series that dates back to the 1978-79 season.
• The Beavers have dropped four of their last five in the all-time series, which includes a regular season sweep at the hands of the Engineers last winter.
• Five of the last eight games between the programs have been decided by six points or less, which includes a trio of overtime games over the last two years.

LAST MEETING
• Bradley Jomard scored 29 of his game-high 38 points in the second half and also contributed 10 rebounds and six assists as then-seventh-ranked MIT defeated the Beavers, 88-77, on January 30, 2019, in Babson Park.
• With the game deadlocked at 52-52, Jomard scored 13 points during a 15-2 run that helped the Engineers create separation.
• Senior Frank Oftring led three Babson players in double figures with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting.

SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• MIT (9-7, 2-3 NEWMAC) has split its last eight games and is coming offa 72-60 loss to Springfield on Wednesday.
• Junior Ian Hinkley scored 19 points and Matas Masys added 15 points for the Engineers, who shot 55.3 percent in the loss.
• Hinkley (21.5 pts, 7.6 reb) ranks second in the conference in scoring, sophomore Alex Cho (17.5 pts, 2.6 ast) has not played since December 5, and first-year Kael Kordonowy (11.4 pts, 6.5 reb, 3.4 ast) is shooting 54.5 percent against NEWMAC opponents.
• MIT is holding its opponents to 41.8 percent shooting, which ranks second in the league.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 22 Babson (13-3, 3-2 NEMWAC) is coming off a 76-51 win at Wheaton on Wednesday night.
• Senior Jack Coolahan knocked down seven three-pointers on the way to scoring 25 points for the Beavers, who turned a season-high 16 offensive rebounds into 19 second-chance points.
• Coolahan (17.5 pts, 4.4 reb) has made 20 three-pointers over the last four games, junior Andrew Jaworski (17.5 pts, 6.3 reb) is averaging 24.2 points in conference play, and Oftring (15.3 pts, 7.8 reb) is shooting 56.3 percent.
• The Green and White is averaging 87.1 points per game and ranks 14th in Division III in three-point field goal percentage (40.1).

TAKING CARE OF THE LITTLE THINGS
• The Beavers rank fourth in Division III averaging just 9.9 turnovers and fifth nationally with a 1.65 assist-to-turnover ratio.
• Babson's 84-81 loss to Springfield back on January 8 marks the only time this season it has finished with more turnovers (12) than assists (11).
• In addition to taking care of the ball, the Green and White ranks 13th in Division III shooting 77.7 percent at the free throw line.

DIALING LONG DISTANCE
• Coolahan and Jaworski rank first and second, respectively, and have combined to knock down 38 three-pointers over Babson's first five NEWMAC outings.
• Jaworski, who needs four more triples to tie John Wickey '15 for 10th place on the program's all-time list, is shooting 48.6 from distance in league play, while Coolahan, who made the 100th trifecta of his career on Wednesday night, is shooting at a 52.6 percent clip.

FILLING THE VOID
• Sophomore Colin Bradanese, who recorded his first collegiate double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds on Wednesday at Wheaton, has been superb in four starting assignments against Tufts, Eastern Connecticut State, Regis and the Lyons this season.
• In these four games he is averaging 17.3 points on 63 percent shooting to go along with 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

CANCER AWARENESS INITIATIVES
• Head coach Stephen Brennan and his coaching staff will be participating in Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Week by wearing sneakers with their suits during Saturday's contest. In conjunction with the NABC, more than 4,000 coaches from around the country take part in the event each January.
• Babson has also partnered with the Go4theGoal Foundation and will be wearing gold shoelaces to help raise money for pediatric cancer.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 9-0 this season when outrebounding their opponents.
