No. 22 Men's Basketball at Wheaton

SERIES HISTORY
• Babson holds a 36-14 lead against Wheaton in an all-time series that dates back to the 1989-90 campaign.
• The Beavers have won 18 of their last 20 games against the Lyons, which includes a pair of double-digit victories in 2019.
• Babson has been victorious in 10 of its last 11 visits to Norton going back to 2009.

LAST MEETING
• Junior Andrew Jaworski scored 23 points and senior Jack Coolahan added 19 as Babson defeated Wheaton, 80-65, on February 9, 2019, in Norton.
• The Beavers knocked down 12 three-pointers and shot 50.8 percent while building an 18-point lead midway through the second half.
• David Carbanello poured in a game-high 34 points to pace the Lyons.

SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Wheaton (5-9, 0-4 NEWMAC) has dropped five straight games and is coming off an 82-73 loss to MIT on Saturday.
• First-year Alex Carlisle scored 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting to lead five players in double figures for the Lyons, who were down just two with 6:00 to play.
• First-year Aaron Williams (17.1 pts, 5.6 reb) has reached double figures in 12 of 13 games, senior Alex DuBrow (14.3 pts, 6.6 ast) ranks ninth in Division III in assists, and classmate Robby Lowey (13.3 pts, 7.4 reb) is shooting 56.3 percent.
• Wheaton is averaging 81.3 points on 45.1 percent shooting, but has allowed more than 80 points in eight of its nine losses on the year.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 22 Babson (12-3, 2-2 NEWMAC) has split its last six games and is coming off a 92-89 OT loss at Clark on Saturday.
• Jaworski scored 31 points and Coolahan finished with 21 points, eight rebounds and three steals for the Beavers, who led by as many as 19 early in the second half.
• Jaworski (17.7 pts, 6.2 reb) is averaging 24.6 points over the last five games, Coolahan (17.0 pts, 4.3 reb) has already connected on a career-high 46 three-pointers, and senior Frank Oftring (15.3 pts, 7.8 reb) is shooting 56.3 percent, good for fourth in the conference.
• The Green and White ranks fifth in Division III in field goal percentage (50.9) and 19th nationally in scoring offense (87.8 points).

JAWORSKI GARNERS LEAGUE RECOGNITION
• After averaging 28.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 52.5 percent in games against Coast Guard and Clark, Jaworski was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
• Over the first two weeks of league play he is averaging a conference-best 26.5 points to go along with 6.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

TALE OF TWO HALVES
• Babson, which jumped out to a 9-0 start prior to the break, not only averaged nearly 89 points per game but held its opponents to 40.8 percent shooting from the floor, 31 percent shooting from beyond the arc and 0.94 points per possession.
• Over their last six games, the Beavers' foes have shot 52.3 percent overall, 44.2 percent from deep and are putting up 1.09 points per possession. Additionally, the Green and White has allowed more than 80 points in each of its first four NEWMAC tilts.

DOWN TO THE WIRE
• Babson has played back-to-back overtime games decided by two and three points, respectively, marking the first time since 2009 it's had consecutive games finish with a margin of three points or less in NEWMAC play.
• In 2009, the Green and White recorded back-to-back two-point wins over Wheaton and MIT before following it up with a two-point loss to Coast Guard and a three-point setback at Springfield.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 7-0 this season when allowing 70 points or less.
