No. 17 Men's Basketball at Clark

SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 35-38 all-time against Clark in a series that dates back to the 1934-35 season.
• The Beavers have dominated the series as of late winning 11 straight meetings between the programs going back to February 2014.
• Babson has won each of its last five visits to Clark, a stretch the includes three victories of at least 20 points and two others by just four points apiece.

LAST MEETING
Brandon Johnson '19 scored 16 points, senior Jack Coolahan finished with 12 and junior Andrew Jaworski chipped in with 10 points and nine assists as Babson routed Clark, 102-65, on February 2, 2019, in Worcester.
• Four other players added eight points apiece for the Beavers, who jumped out to a 57-24 halftime lead and shot 62.1 percent for the game.
• Junior Anthony Grzembski scored 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting to lead three Cougars in double figures.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• Clark (7-7, 2-1 NEWMAC) is coming off a 100-65 setback at 19th-ranked Springfield on Wednesday night.
• Junior Biko Gayman scored 21 points and sophomore Zackary Mittelstadt knocked down five three-pointers and finished with 19 points for the Cougars, who were outrebounded 52-30.
• Gayman (19.2 pts, 5.6 ast) ranks third in the league in scoring and second in assists, junior Tyler Davern (18.3 pts, 9.6 reb) is second in the conference in rebounding, and sophomore Joel Artega is averaging 9.6 points and 4.6 boards in 14 starts.
• In its seven wins this season, Clark is making 13.9 three-pointers and shooting 39.9 percent from beyond the arc.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 17 Babson (12-2, 2-1 NEWMAC) outlasted Coast Guard in OT, 94-92, on Wednesday night for its second consecutive win.
• Jaworski scored 26 points, junior Crew Ainge added 23 and Coolahan scored the go-ahead hoop with 4.1 seconds to go in OT for the Beavers, who trailed by 18 at halftime and eight with 1:50 to play in regulation.
• Coolahan (16.7 pts, 4.1 reb) and Jaworski (16.7 pts, 6.1 reb) are both shooting better than 50 percent from the floor, senior Frank Oftring (16.2 pts, 8.3 reb) has reached double figures in 10 straight games, and Ainge (12.6 pts, 4.6 ast) ranks fourth in the NEWMAC in assists.
• The Green and White ranks fourth in Division III in field goal percentage (51.5) and 21st nationally in scoring offense averaging 87.7 points.

DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK
• Trailing by 18 points at halftime on Wednesday against Coast Guard, Babson recorded its largest second-half comeback over the last decade to edge the Bears.
• Previously, the Beavers had rallied from 13- and 12-point deficits for regular season wins against MIT in 2016-17, and dug out of a 13-point hole for a come-from-behind-win at Clark in 2015.

COUGAR HUNTER
• Oftring is averaging 13.0 points on 74 percent shooting (20-of-27) in four games against Clark over the last two seasons.

EFFICIENT ON OFFENSE
• Over its first three NEWMAC games, Babson is shooting 51.8 percent from the field and averaging 1.19 points per possession.
• The Green and White has committed turnovers on just 13.8 percent of its possessions and are making 9.7 three-pointers per contest.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 35-5 over their last 40 NEWMAC road games going back to February 2014.
