MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— After a trio of victories on the weekend, Babson College junior Sabina Frosk (Coppell, Texas) was selected New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week Monday morning.

Frosk finished with 35 digs and averaged 3.50 digs per set to help No. 22 Babson win all three of its matches at the New England Fall Classic over the weekend. The junior libero had a season-high 16 digs in Friday's 3-1 victory over UMass Dartmouth and followed it up with eight digs in a sweep of Union and 11 digs in another three-set triumph over William Smith on Saturday. Frosk and the Beavers' defense also helped hold their three opponents to a .092 hitting percentage.

The Beaver defensive specialist leads the team with 87 digs and 3.11 digs per set. She has recorded at least eight digs in eight of her nine outings and has four double-digit dig performances.

Babson (8-1) plays its next five matches against NEWMAC opponents, beginning Tuesday against Wheaton at 7 p.m. at Staake Gymnasium.
