SERIES HISTORY
•    Babson is 24-32 all-time against Wheaton in a series that dates back to 1980.
•    The Beavers have won eight straight and 12 of their last 13 matches versus the Lyons going back to 2013. 
•    The Green and White has been victorious in its last eight matches inside Staake Gymnasium against Wheaton since 2009. 

LAST MEETING
•    Junior Angelina Holm finished with 15 kills and a .609 hitting percentage to help Babson rally for a four-set victory (17-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-17) at Wheaton on September 23, 2025. 
•    Isabella Allen '26 recorded 12 kills, senior Zoe Ackerman provided 28 assists and Sophia Shaw '26 finished with a team-high nine digs for the Beavers, who overcame a season-high 21 service errors by hitting .427 and making just six attack errors over the final three sets. 
•    Celina Henn provided 13 kills, Sydney Lyon finished with 12 kills, Ajsa Orban handed out 29 assists and Jackie Hochberg led all players with 20 digs for the Lyons, who hit a blistering .619 in their opening-set victory. 

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    No. 22 Babson (8-1, 0-0 NEWMAC) has won its last three matches and concluded the New England Fall Classic with a 3-0 win over William Smith on Saturday afternoon. 
•    Holm led all players with eight kills, senior Hailey Fouche recorded seven kills, five blocks and five digs, and sophomore Ailsa Munro (five blocks) and first-year Lia Gonzalez (11 digs) added five kills apiece for the Beavers, who held the Herons to a season-worst .000 hitting percentage. 
•    Fouche (3.50 kills/set, 0.68 blocks/set) leads the team with 19 total blocks and boasts a .337 hitting percentage, sophomore Devon Burke is averaging 2.25 kills per set and Gonzalez (2.18 k/s, 2.55 digs/set) is hitting .282 over the first nine matches. 
•    Munro (2.18 k/s, 0.86 b/s) owns a team-best .365 hitting percentage, Ackerman ranks sixth in Division III in assists per set (10.25) and junior Sabina Frosk is averaging a team-high 3.11 digs per set to lead the defense. 

SCOUTING THE LYONS
•    Wheaton (4-7, 0-0 NEWMAC) has dropped two straight and six of its last seven matches going back to September 5 after suffering a 3-0 loss to Gordon on Saturday. 
•    Katie de la Pena led a balanced attack with eight kills, Mary Caroline Mazanti added seven kills, Orban contributed 13 assists, eight digs and four service aces, and Hochberg had a match-high 22 digs for the Lyons, who let a five-point lead slip away in game one before falling 30-28 in the third set. 
•    Mazzanti is averaging 2.80 kills per set and is second on the team with 13 total blocks, Ashlan Tosadori is contributing 2.46 kills per set and Madd Botelho has provided 2.12 kills and 1.65 digs per set over the first 11 matches. 
•    de la Pena (0.58 b/s) leads the squad with 19 total blocks, the trio of Orban, Elena Timo and Emily Cordell has combined to hand out 9.65 assists per set, and Hochberg is averaging 4.27 digs per set. 

FROSK EARNS NEWMAC RECOGNITION
•    After averaging 3.50 digs per set while helping the Beavers hold UMass Dartmouth, Union and William Smith to a combine hitting percentage of .092 over the weekend, Frosk was selected as the NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. 
•    She recorded a season-high 16 digs in Babson's four-set victory over UMass Dartmouth on Friday and followed it up with eight digs against Union and 11 more versus William Smith. 

NEWMAC KNOWLEDGE
•    Babson has opened NEWMAC play with a win in 12 consecutive seasons (excluding 2021) going back to 2012. 
•    The Beavers have come in no worse than fourth in the conference standings in 12 straight years dating back to 2013, which includes finishing among the top three on 11 occasions including last year's second-place showing. 
•    The Green and White was picked second behind last year's defending regular season and tournament champions MIT, which defeated Babson in five sets in last year's conference championship match. 
•    The Beavers have won at least eight conference matches in all but one season since 2017 and went 10-1 for the first time in program history last fall. 

SENIOR MILESTONES
•    Ackerman became just the fourth player in Babson history to surpass 200 career service aces after totaling five in Saturday's win over Union, and her 204 are just two shy of equaling Eric Yuan '04 for third place on the program's all-time list. 
•    Fouche recorded 35 kills in three matches over the weekend, including a season-high 15 versus UMass Dartmouth, and now ranks 16th on the Beavers' career list with 593 kills and moved into 20th place on the program's career points list with 730.5. 

BEAVER BITES
•    Fouche has at least seven kills in every match this fall and has finished with double-digit kills in 10 of Babson's last 12 contests going to back to November of last season.
•    Munro has at least one block in six of the last seven matches and averaged 2.63 kills per set while hitting .436 in three matches at the New England Fall Classic over the weekend. 
•    First-year Sara Arango registered a season-high 11 digs in Friday's victory over UMass Dartmouth.
•    Ackerman has handed out 30 or more assists in six of the Beavers' first nine matches. 
•    Sophomore Liberty May produced a season-high kills while not making an error in 13 swings for a .615 hitting percentage in Saturday's sweep of Union.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    Babson ranks sixth in Division III in hitting percentage (.277) and ranks 24th nationally in kills per set (13.14). 
•    The Beavers are 38-3 inside Staake Gymnasium going back to the start of the 2023 season. 
•    The Green and White is 6-0 this fall and 52-1 over the last four seasons when holding its opponents to a hitting percentage of .150 or below.
•    Babson is 5-0 this year and 34-2 since the start of the 2024 campaign when recording 10 or more service aces.
