KANSAS CITY, Mo.—The Babson College women's soccer program was recognized for its success in the classroom by earning United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award honors earlier this month. 

Under the guidance of Nellie Pineault, who stepped down from her role as head women's soccer coach to become an associate athletics director at Babson over the summer, the Beavers wrapped up the 2025-26 academic year with a 3.30 grade-point average. The Green and White, which has received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award in six of the last eight seasons, was one of 447 NCAA programs recognized by the organization. 

To be eligible for consideration for team academic award honors, a school must be an active member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2024-25 academic year.

Babson, which concluded the 2025 campaign at 8-5-5, is set to open the 2026 season under new head coach Kerry Baldwin against NYU on September 1 at 2:30 p.m. on Hartwell-Rogers Field.
