CLINTON, N.Y.—Junior Isabel Harvey (Rye, N.Y.) scored once in each half to help Hamilton College defeat visiting Babson College, 3-0, in non-conference women's soccer action on Sunday afternoon at Love Field.
Babson, which has dropped its last three matches, slips to 1-4 on the year. Hamilton has recorded back-to-back victories to improve to 3-1 overall.
Senior Samantha Tyska (Hudson, Mass.) added a goal late in the second half and junior Kate Giglio (Westfield, N.J.) registered two assists for the Continentals. Senior Olivia Connolly (Washington, D.C.) did not have to make a save in picking up her first win of the year.

Callahan Cottone (Medway, Mass.) matched her season high with three saves in the first half and sophomore
Maisie Creamer (Boulder, Colo.) stopped two shots over the final 45 minutes for the Beavers.
Hamilton got off to a fast start forcing Cottone to make a pair of saves just over three minutes into the match before taking the lead on Harvey's first goal at the 6:07 mark. After settling a long pass from sophomore Lila Sullivan (Charlestown, Mass.), she pushed past a pair of defenders at the top of the box and tucked her finish inside the right post to make it 1-0.
Sophomore Diana Baffor (Old Akrade, Ghana) had two chances to extend the lead 45 seconds apart in the 17th minute but saw her shots from inside 15 yards sail just off target. Babson best scoring chance of the match came in the 36th minute when sophomore
Izzy Lee's (Phoenix, Ariz.) close-range header off a corner kick bounced off and then over the crossbar.
Beavers' first-year
Mia Eglintine (Franklin, Mass.) also had her bid to tie the game from the edge of the six-yard box following another corner kick smothered by a Hamilton defender in the 54th minute before the hosts dominated the final half hour. Harvey scored her second goal of the game with a powerful header from the penalty spot back inside the left post after a terrific service by Giglio in the 83rd minute, and Tyska knocked home another corner by Giglio in a crowd at the back post just over three minutes later for the final margin.
The Continentals finished with a 25-5 edge in shots, while the Beavers held a slim 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Both teams return to action next Saturday as Babson hosts Springfield at 1 p.m. while Hamilton heads to Trinity for an 11 a.m. start.
GAME NOTES
• The Beavers are now 0-1-1 all-time against Hamilton.
• Sunday's contest marked just the fifth time Babson has conceded three or more goals in its last 40 matches.
• The Green and White finished without a shot on goal for the first time since a 3-0 loss to Brandeis on September 22, 2015, on Sunday.
